I want to give this negative stars, unfortunately I cannot. These positive reviews are obviously from the older gentleman doctor who used to own this vet, he was professional and helped my cat numerous times. Now this vet is owned by someone else, and I have never been treated so poorly. I have worked at a vet office in the past, I worked at a few of them, totaling 5 years experience and never have I seen a doctor be so unprofessional. My mother came in with her dogs for shots, the nurse came in and explained her estimate and my mom was shocked, the nurse politely said "If you want to see if maybe somewhere else is cheaper, Its no problem". Yes, the nurse said it. My mom said "well can we just get one dog done today and I can come back when I get paid?" So nurse said, "Ill leave you for a moment to decide" and my mom just got her phone out of her purse and was dialing another vet just to double check some costs and NONE EVEN ANSWERED BEFORE THE DOCTOR HIT HER WITH THE DOOR! He came in yelling "EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME! IF YOU ARE MAKING A APPT SOMEWHERE ELSE, YOU NEED TO GET OUT NOW!" I mean yelling, never have I seen a doctor act this way, and I worked at a hospital with 10 veterinary doctors. So, he goes to slam the door and my mother said "I was going to get one done" and he slams the door. We walked out shocked and that is not the lambertville vet we have known and used for the past 6 years. As a professional doctor, he could have come in and explained the bill but he didnt! The nurse was the one who brought up seeing if somewhere else was cheaper and my mom was never once rude, she just literally was shocked at the bill, which she had good reason because we left and her $200 bill? we got the same things for $85 somewhere else. I am shocked still, I cant believe this doctor has come into our friendly lambertville and is acting so rude and unprofessional. I will never let them help my pets again, I think empathy is a very important skill this man needs to get a grip of. Read Less

They take great care of my pets. They make you feel like your pet actually matters and give them sweet loving attention. They listen to your concerns and try to do everything possible to alleviate them. The doc came to my home to put my doggy to sleep when he was very sick and couldn't travel. I appreciated that so very much that he could go peacefully at home with family where he was comfortable. Read Less

I was so impressed with the care my puppy recieved. From the receptionist to the actual Veternarian. Very reasonably priced, and they took such good care of our baby boy. He was very sick on the verge of dien. He was only 7 weeks old and thanks to the Lambertville veterinary clinic he lived. I would recommend this place to every one in the surrounding area. We love Lambertville Veterinary Clinic! Our two year old pit bull mix has had terrible allergies for well over a year. We tried everything to help her...several trips to other veterinary clinics, changing of diet, and trying any product or home remedy we could find. Nothing worked, and we were told by one veterinarian, there was nothing more they could do for her. She was miserable...runny eyes and ears so itchy she would scratch until they bled. We knew we had to find something, or someone, to help her. After one visit, the staff at Lambertville Veterinary Clinic was able to help our sweet girl!! They knew her allergies could be treated and gave us a plan of action that gave her immediate relief. For the first time in over a year, Gemma slept through the night!!! No itching, no rubbing her face, no shaking her head. After a week of treatment, her ears are healing and she is a happy girl again! We can't say enough about the doctors and staff at the clinic. We are very grateful for their care, concern, and willingness to help! Our experience was so wonderful, we will be bringing our other sweet girl in for her check-up in the near future. Dr. Taylor was my vet for over 20 years and I trusted him with the lives of my dogs and cats. He also treated countless rescue "critters" in various states of disrepair with respect and great skill. I wish him well in his new retirement and will miss him greatly. That said, I have started taking my dogs ( and one particularly challenging rescue kitten) to see Dr's DeGrande and Coleman who purchased the Lambertville Veterinary clinic from Dr Taylor. Both vets are very professional as well as personal in dealing with pets and owners alike. I am very glad to have this enthusiastic couple in our community and whole heartedly recommend them to anyone needing veterinary care for their pets. I called to get flea medicine for my 2 animals as I've done this every year. The receptionist was rude, argumentative. She demanded I make an appointment for the two pets. However, in the past I would just go in and get the oral flea meds. I see from the reviews the Doctor seems nice. However, they may not get many customers with "The Rudest Receptionist" answering the phone. On this note will definitely not be taking any of my pets there ever. Read Less

My husband and I took our dog and cat for the first time and had a fabulous experience with Dr Coleman. He was so kind with both of our pets, very thorough, and explained what and why he was doing the whole time. He spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. My experience with Dr. Coleman was wonderful. Sammie has a serious digestive problem. Dr. Coleman did a thorough exam and prescribed medication and probiotics. He also advised me how to transition Sammie to regular dog food as the prescription dog food is too expensive for my tight budget. Dr. Coleman was understanding and kind. I have another review for the clinic. I have an almost 8 month old golden retriever puppy. She got spayed earlier in November (see other review) and since then she has been peeing in her sleep. I was worried but thought it might go away after awhile but recently I called the vet to see if there was something I needed to be concerned with. I made an appointment to take her in but then decided to cancel because of financial reasons at the beginning of the month with fresh bills. Dr. Coleman saw the issue and also saw I canceled and personally called me to see what was going on with Mia. He suggested getting a urine sample and testing it so I wouldn't have to bring her in. I got a sample and took it in, he analyzed it and got back to me. Turns out it was an UTI and he was able to prescribe her antibiotics without seeing her. I saved money by not taking her in for an office visit and I couldn't have been more grateful for him calling me and not making me bring her in. Since then she is doing better and hasn't had any accidents and it's been a week. I'm so thankful because sometimes these little creatures we love can cause a big bill on their owners. Ever since dr. Taylor retired, prices have skyrocketed. This WAS the most reasonably priced vet in the bedford area. Now they over charge for the smallest things. Very sneaky and dishonest. Ill take my business to Temperance Animal Hospital where its much CLEANER. :) Read Less
