I have never had a bad experience here. Staff is knowledgeable and patient. They handle everything with professionalism and care. They genuinely make me feel as though they care for my fur baby and myself. The other great thing is that I never (ever) feel pressured to buy anything. They don't insist that only one brand of any product is safe or the best (like a lot of places we have been do.) We started coming here because the location was convenient and their hours were better able to accommodate our schedules, but we have continued to go because we truly feel comfortable taking our puppers there for care (which for me, says a lot). We are going on 2 years with Banfield. We signed up for their insurance right away. They always call us when Pearl is ready for her next check-up, shots, etc. With the Insurance, I didn't have to pay out of pocket to get her spayed or any other appointment. Also, twice in the past month I have had to have proof of her shots. When I called Banfiled, the lady pulled up my file and said she can fax my info anywhere I like at that moment. I do not like this place. I do not know why I got treated badly, maybe because of how young I am. But they made me feel like I did not know how to care for my dog. They are very expensive and small. I recommend Miller Animal Clinic. The only good thing about this place is that it is inside a petsmart. Read Less

ZERO stars if this was an option! Do NOT go to this place. I have taken several of my cats here for care. One cat died undergoing anesthesia (procedure had not started) for a routine neutering. The pretense is that they care but when push comes to shove, they will find ways to milk you out of $$. Many of these big box systems reward the vets and staff a percentage for the $$ they can pull out of your pocket. Ethical??? Do NOT get duped with the "insurance" they sell either. This is not insurance; its a payment plan for care to off-set the cost. It is a scam. If you don't believe me, google it. You will see countless accounts from across the country. Conveniently, they can't perform many tests and you WILL pay out of pocket. They will refuse to do a routine procedure without testing. Just another way to ring the cash register. RUN RUN RUN to a vet who becomes part of your family and understands the difficult care decisions that you have to make for your pet. We had a situation where they flat out refused to euthanize a pet who had been sick and vomiting for a year and was spraying all over the house (and they were not able to identify the problem). They refused to euthanize on the basis that it would be "unethical". Miraculously, the day we brought him in, they found something. The suggestion was to drop him off at the animal shelter so he could be re-homed. Yeah . . . so he could then be miserable away from his home, un-adoptable as an old cat and then euthanized or worse, sent to a home where he would be abused because of his problems and need for meticulous care. Ethical??? Our decision was solely based on our love for him, his well being and the wellness of our other cats not $$. Get away from this place and their inept staff. Read Less

I was roped into spending hundreds of dollars here since no other vets office was open and i had a very sick kitty. I got minimal care that did nothing and was charged over $500 for. When ever i called to ask questions they treated me like i was stupid and were very rude. Also when i got my boy home i found he had gotten FLEAS! GREAT JOB BANFIELD!!! Phenomenal....the only word I can use to describe the customer service I've received at Banfield Pet Hospital. About a year ago, I was in PetSmart and had a couple questions regarding my cat. I didn't have her with me, and was obviously not going to spend money that day. Dr. Olstead took the time to answer all of my questions anyway. So naturally, when our cat became ill this was the first place that came to mind. I called on a Friday afternoon asking to be worked in as soon as possible...they worked me in THAT NIGHT!! Not only was Dr Olstead wonderful once again, the receptionist was very friendly, and the nurse was incredible - our cat barely likes us, let alone other people - she had our cat snuggling with her during our appointment (I've literally never witnessed our cat being that comfortable with anyone!). They took a situation that started out very stressful for me (that morning my cat had urinated repeatedly on my bed...she was being seen for a UTI) and had my husband and I feeling at ease and laughing throughout the appointment. They were incredibly efficient yet thorough (and their prices are incredibly reasonable...we paid less than half of what we were expecting to pay). I could not have been more impressed with my entire visit. Thank you Banfield Pet Hospital! We will be back!!! Read Less
