We called begging for help for our dog who was said to have a stomach full of fluidsand blockage in his intestines. They absolutely refused to help with our baby unless pymt was made at the time of service. Is this how you treat loyal customers? There was NO COMPASSION AT ALL. Their only concern was their payment.

I have been taking my dogs to Waverly Animal Hospital for 26 years. While they are not perfect, they are better than most! I've visited other boarding facilities in the tri-county area and NO ONE provides better Deluxe accommodations for the price. Every request, suggestion or complaint is met with genuine concern and swift resolution. The medical care is good, the staff is caring, the owners are mindful and hardworking. In 26 years I have been fortunate to only have to have two of my dogs euthanized. I brought both to Waverly and they were compassionate and caring. You get what you pay for. I am grateful for Waverly Animal Hospital!!

She then worked with my budget to run tests that seemed appropriate. When they found the problem, they took great care of my kitty through surgery and after. The vet kept me updated and continued to follow up to make sure she was doing well. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful animal hospital.

I drove from Houghton Lake to Lansing to see Dr. Stuhler and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Jennifer (Dr. Stuhler) really loves her job & it shows! If I could rank this negatively, I would. One of the WORST veterinary hospitals I have ever encountered. Long story short, our family dog went in for a routine procedure that the operating vet complet...
If I could rank this negatively, I would. One of the WORST veterinary hospitals I have ever encountered. Long story short, our family dog went in for a routine procedure that the operating vet completed messed up causing nearly three additional weeks of treatments that ultimately resulted in our dog being euthanized. The histoma that was removed during the procedure was indicated to us, by the hospital, as non-cancerous, however it turned out to be cancerous despite their reassurance. The hospital was negligent in ever following up with re-checking for cancer and was too distracted by their original screw-up on the surgery, which caused an infection and the death of paw tissues and pads, to follow up on the overarching issue. As mentioned, the negligence and failure of the vets to detect the cancer in due time resulted in our dog being put down. Again, one of the WORST veterinary hospitals I have encountered. For the sake of your pets, PLEASE reconsider visiting here - I would hate for another family to have to go through what my family went through with this operation.

Looking for incompetence and ignorance in the care and treatment of your animal at an outrageous price? This is your place!!! I will never pay to have my dogs abused there again. Good thing one of us read the chart, that's how I figured out this place is staffed by incompetence. Their only skill seems to be hiding their neglectful and near abusive tactics. Please do not subject your beloved pets to this place.
Update after owners whiney response:"Bight?" Thank you for confirming your ignorance. Also....your staff member stating it was my fault because the file should have had a "will bite" sticker and I didn't inform them? Wow! The dog has never showed aggression in 7 years accept toward your "trained staff". Also...classy move getting on here and saying I hurt your poor feelings. A phone call to work out the problem would have gone alot further. But what can I expect from such incompetence? You should NOT be caring for animals.

It's self explanatory, just a bit different. The building itself is located on the East side of Waverly and South of Michigan Ave.

I cannot say enough great things about this hospital. We have been to multiple vets and boarding facilities and waverly is top notch professionalsm. We have had a disabled cat, our first dog, and our second dog. They handled putting our first dog dog with such grace and compassion. We will never take our animals anywhere else. Thanks for what you guys do ❤️

We have been loyal customers of this place for many years, got our dog at 6 weeks and he's 6 yrs now and been coming here for all those yrs. We called begging for help for our dog who was said to have a stomach full of fluidsand blockage in his intestines. They absolutely refused to help with our baby unless pymt was made at the time of service. Is this how you treat loyal customers? There was NO COMPASSION AT ALL. Their only concern was their payment.

I have been taking my dogs to Waverly Animal Hospital for 26 years. While they are not perfect, they are better than most! I've visited other boarding facilities in the tri-county area and NO ONE provides better Deluxe accommodations for the price. Every request, suggestion or complaint is met with genuine concern and swift resolution. The medical care is good, the staff is caring, the owners are mindful and hardworking. In 26 years I have been fortunate to only have to have two of my dogs euthanized. I brought both to Waverly and they were compassionate and caring. You get what you pay for. I am grateful for Waverly Animal Hospital!!

I brought my kitten there because she was constantly sick and dehydrated. They got me in right away to see a vet, who was kind and considerate. She then worked with my budget to run tests that seemed appropriate. When they found the problem, they took great care of my kitty through surgery and after. The vet kept me updated and continued to follow up to make sure she was doing well. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful animal hospital.

Drove 2 hours one way to have my dogs infected teeth removed after my vet refused to removed them & only treated her with antibiotics & a good cleaning. I drove from Houghton Lake to Lansing to see Dr. Stuhler and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Jennifer (Dr. Stuhler) really loves her job & it shows! I will continue to drive 2 hours one way if I have to so we can continue to receive such great care

If I could rank this negatively, I would. One of the WORST veterinary hospitals I have ever encountered. Long story short, our family dog went in for a routine procedure that the operating vet completed messed up causing nearly three additional weeks of treatments that ultimately resulted in our dog being euthanized. The histoma that was removed during the procedure was indicated to us, by the hospital, as non-cancerous, however it turned out to be cancerous despite their reassurance. The hospital was negligent in ever following up with re-checking for cancer and was too distracted by their original screw-up on the surgery, which caused an infection and the death of paw tissues and pads, to follow up on the overarching issue. As mentioned, the negligence and failure of the vets to detect the cancer in due time resulted in our dog being put down. Again, one of the WORST veterinary hospitals I have encountered. For the sake of your pets, PLEASE reconsider visiting here - I would hate for another family to have to go through what my family went through with this operation.

Apparently a bunch of untrained idiots who have no idea how to handle animals as I believe their igonorange based negligence, and inability to read animals file boarders on abuse. Looking for incompetence and ignorance in the care and treatment of your animal at an outrageous price? This is your place!!! I will never pay to have my dogs abused there again. Good thing one of us read the chart, that's how I figured out this place is staffed by incompetence. Their only skill seems to be hiding their neglectful and near abusive tactics. Please do not subject your beloved pets to this place.
Update after owners whiney response:"Bight?" Thank you for confirming your ignorance. Also....your staff member stating it was my fault because the file should have had a "will bite" sticker and I didn't inform them? Wow! The dog has never showed aggression in 7 years accept toward your "trained staff". Also...classy move getting on here and saying I hurt your poor feelings. A phone call to work out the problem would have gone alot further. But what can I expect from such incompetence? You should NOT be caring for animals.

They were thorough and made sure she was ok. They treated her like their own. My kitty didn't like it there however because she just wanted to go home and sleep.
