This place killed my cat, I brought him in for a wellness exam because he had lost 4 pounds in the last 2 months. I told them this and they told me it as no alarm what so ever he was in great health. They insisted on giving him rabies and distemper shots, even though i have had him for over 5 years without any - and told them I don't want it. The vet tech seemed annoyed by any questions and concerns I had prior to the vet coming to check him over. The vet carelessly checked my cat on his stomach and neck, and that was it; then grabbed the shots. He did not even check his ears or teeth. I had to ask them to check his teeth because he has overly smelly breath and I was concerned. After he finally did, he said he needed a cleaning and he was in good health. He then gave him the shots, which I still DID NOT WANT. I asked if there are any side effects I need to be concerned with, he just said soreness for about a day after. I brought him home, and it seemed as if he was limping really bad, 2 days later he completely lost all ability to walk. His front paws seemed to be unable to move at all and he frequently toppled over. I then called them asking what in the world is happening, and they told me to come pay for a 're-check-up' and give it another day or 2. He was in confused misery, not knowing why he could not walk or even pee by himself, I had to carry him everywhere he needed to go. I waited and around 3 in the morning he woke screaming in pain. I rushed him to the emergency vet where they did extensive tests which cost me 700 dollars I don't have. He came back with microcardia. They shot live active rabies into a sick cat with microcardia (a smaller heart). We brought him home after he seemed to be getting a bit better, only for him to - 8 hours later - have a violent seizure, we rushed him back in and it was too late. He died on arrival. We called other vets and did a lot of research, and it all stems down to the shots they should have NEVER gave him without knowing FOR SURE if he was sick or not. I told them something was wrong with him, and they just shut me down. THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! This place is horrific, most of these reviews seem fake. DO NOT BRING YOU LOVED ONES HERE, they do not care for them - only for money. They wanted us in and out. This vet did nothing to ensure he was healthy, not even a proper wellness check up. They should lose their license!!!! I lost a piece of my heart I will never get back due to their negligence and ignorance. I WISH I NEVER brought my baby here!!!! This is one of the biggest regrets of my life, and resulted in the death of the sweetest, most loving, trusting boy I ever had or met. My heart is utterly shattered.. Read Less

I was very very unhappy with what happened to the dog I was fostering at this place. The dog returned in such deplorable condition it was unbearable. The dog was covered in urine and feeces when I picked him up and they stated that they didnt have the ability to bathe him. The real question is why they allowed him to sit in his own body excreetments to the pointe where his white paws were stained yellow. I would never take one of my own dogs here. Read Less

Took my dog for a cough, gave me a bill at first for almost $800. The vet was friendly but other staff members were extremely rude and did not seem to care about my dog at all, only money. I took him to Dix Animal Hospital the next time and I recommend them instead. Read Less

After our 11 week old corgi puppy became suddenly ill, we were pressed to find a vet to take him to so late on a Saturday. I am so thankful to have found this clinic! The staff was so kind to us, and our pup. Dr.Al took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on (even going as far as to draw a picture), as well as explain all of our treatment options. The techs who helped were so gentle and kind to our little guy. They really impressed me, and helped calm me during a very emotional time. The only place I'll go to get my dogs nails clipped. Always friendly. Always informative. Very caring towards pets and helpful with owners. It's a small place you would miss if you didn't know where it was - maybe some more advertising to stand out. Read Less

My pup Boomer has a sore on his foot. Brought him here. First time visit. I was happy. I was worried about the sore. Surgery is a plan but because of my dogs age I'm apprehensive. Dr. Al understood my concern. Didn't push for the surgery. We decided to try antibiotics and pain meds first with the cone of shame. The staff was great, place was great. My male kitty is still being treated for a persistent problem but so far have had 2 visits, very pleased with the care and prices are reasonable. The staff is very knowledgable and pleasant and the office is very clean. I noticed a few reviews say there is a discount for a review - I didn't ask for a discount (they do offer a few dollars off for reviewing) but I hope someone wouldn't do it just for that. I doubt most would because people usually care deeply about their pets and the care they receive. I've moved to the area recently and wanted to go to a vet close by because my cats hate car rides so much. I could not afford all the needed diagnostics on the last visit but am saving up to have them done at the followup visit. I appreciate not being made to feel badly about having to wait a few weeks to gather enough cash. The doctor took the time to explain every detail about what the problem could be. I've had animals all my adult life and been to a lot of vets good and bad so am happy to find a good one close by. Read Less

Highly recommend I had taken my dog to affiliated veterinary services where they allowed my dog to die!! we had a full investigation and I got my money back but what I really wanted was my dog so I was very suspicious and suspect of every veterinary services!!! one of my friends was walking her dog, and her dog was attacked with serious injuries requiring four surgeries!!! these people really have a heart they took very good care of him and they were understanding of her financial situation very kindly work everything out with her in the best interest of the dog!!! which is highly appreciated. after the situation with affiliated veterinarian emergency services I never wanted to deal with any of this again it was too much but now I will use this veterinarian the staff and everybody was kind and had a huge hearts.
