Dutchess my rescued boxer was brought in by my "husband". We were divorcing and I was unable to keep her. Dutchess stopped eating so he took her in. He wouldn't believe that she starved herself from missing me, he had a female vet cut her open since he said "it must have been cancer". When I saw my Dutchess laying on the table with a black garbage back to hide the incision, I almost died right then and there. The staff made me feel like it was my fault. Great place to take your pets. Dr Masell is wonderful. He is so great with animals and really checks them over. Dr. Masell took care of my moms dog who lived for 17 1/2 years because of him. Dr Kulinski and Dr McQueen have great compassion and medical knowledge of felines.  Over the last 30 years of caring for my cats, they have been wonderful.  My cats have been there for urinary tract infections, renal failure, nasal cancer, dental work, wellness exams with immunizations, and sadly euthanasia.I also train cats for a business, and the Levan Road Veterinary Hospital staff is very supportive of me bringing cats in for practice "fun vet visits" to desensitize the cats to vet visits.  Although the office is busy, the staff takes the time to help me, so the actual exams and blood draw is not so traumatic for the cats.Being such a popular practice, the waiting area gets hectic.  I only wish they could expand so in the waiting area, cats and dogs could have their own space.  Offering cat clients a towel to throw over their cat carrier to keep a cat calm would be a nice addition. My 13 yr old mixed Shepard one morning could not stand left hind leg could not support her. I truely thought this was it for our dog. Blood work and x-rays.  They suggested a treatment plan which includes a steroid injection and pills. Next morning it's like night and day with Roxy the dog. She walks fine now. Follow up calls both later in the day we took her in. And the next day too. Both staff and doctor top notch. I was a hot mess when I brought Roxy in they calmed me and offered gently comfort to my ailing dog. Cost a few bucks but after all after 13 yrs our pets become a part of our families. The vets are great, so I trust their medical advice and procedures. Only problem is the wait. Today it was 65 minutes before I saw a doctor. Other times at least 35-40 minute wait, with an appointment.  My pet had surgery and the follow up nurse type person was wonderful, patient, explained after care and was super nice. The front desk people are really difficult. Some act like they are doing you a big favor making an appointment, or getting information. I'm currently looking to change. The staff is nice, & even when the waiting room is crazy busy they keep it organized and people moving along. Our normal vet was closed...The staff and doctors go above and beyond the call of duty. We came in 15 minutes before they closed, we had to put my precious rat terrier of 17 years Drew down.  They were so nice, caring, comforting, helpful, sincere and a blessing!!  This was one of the hardest days of my life.  My daughter and I decided to let Drew go with dignity, I am so grateful we got to hold and touch her during her last breaths.  The staff was so caring we were there past closing no rushing us out the door.  We got a paw print of Drew.  This is the most brilliant thing I have ever seen.  Her actual paw print!!  My daughter and I are going to get tattoos of her paw prints.Trust me she starting having gait issues, balance and others things I'm going to put on here.  If anyone has a problem with it I will explain it more fully.  I'm disabled she sat next to me for 17 years.  You cannot imagine the pain I feel.The cost of the office visit was absolutely fair and reasonable.  The office was well organized and clean.  We only had to wait a few minutes there were a few people ahead of us but due to our circumstances we got our room really quick.This is definitely our new vet and I highly recommend them! I can't express enough how good Levan Veternairy Hospital is! I have been going there for many years with my dogs. They've always had the best of care, whether the issues were big or small. The staff is always friendly & so very helpful. The Doctors are all excellent. Through the years, my personal favorite vet has become Dr. McQueen. After checking out all the vets in this area I've settled on this vet to take care of my much loved pets. I am pleased with the level of professionalism, older staff, and am open to using whatever vet is available, or vet tech on occasion. I simply can't abide young vet techs just out of training who don't know what they're talking about , mess up appointments, don't know pricing  and are way too flighty.  They also handled my cat's euthanasia very efficiently, from paying before hand to not making you wait around. Did have to go to Canton for a avian vet - parakeet had a problem but do understand most practices don't handle birds. Read Less

Our 2yo Maggie (aka that bad brown cat) did OK for her first time at this specific vet, but I wish they had done more actual work (blood work, etc) to determine the problem rather than making an assumption and sending her home.They are close, so I may try them a second time, but I'll need to be firm.  I don't have the money to waste, let alone the time to calm down a freaky kitty, for just assumptions...
