We had a boxer with skin allergies. I tried at least 5-6 different places trying to find someone that could help his skin, itching and overall health. No one helped us as much as Dr. Baylis and his staff. Dr Baylis was very up front with options and didn't run un necessary tests or procedures. We continued care here for the next 7-8 years. We had also brought our cat here who received great care. Our boxer, became elderly, and had a stroke. Dr. Baylis and his staff kept in contact with us to see how he was doing. Eventually, we had to say goodbye to our pet, and the staff was so compassionate and caring. They went out of their way to help us and answer all our questions. BIG props to Dr. Baylis and the entire crew! Dr. Baylis has taken care of our animals for almost two decades now (four dogs and more cats than I can remember now!). He recently saw the newest addition to our family; ‘Chroma’ - an 8-week old tricolor American Pit Bull. After almost 18 years we lost our Aussie Shepard mix ‘Dufus’ (endearingly named) to cancer and Dr. Baylis was there to help us make that difficult decision to allow him to move on to his next life. Been coming to see the vets here for a couple years now, staff is always friendly and accommodating. Always happy to answer any and all of your questions. My dog always seems happy to come and never happy to leave. Everyone here clearly loves working with animals and helping them more. I've never been pressured into uneeded tests or procedures like some vets like to push. All in all, great people and would highly recommend their office for anyone looking to change veterinarians. I can't say enough about Dr. Baylis. Having recently moved to Davisburg from Northern Michigan, I didn't know who to trust with the care of our two dogs, Pike and Peanut. Then I remembered meeting Mrs. Baylis (mother) at Dr. Larry Baylis's (brother) Family Practice Clinic, and how fondly she spoke of her son - the veterinarian. She couldn't have been more accurate with her glowing review, and we've been reaping the benefits of her referral ever since. Just today (a Saturday), after the office was closed, Dr. Baylis called in a prescription for our chocolate lab, Pike - a repeat and lifelong patient. We came here just to have just have our cat's check up and I was pleasantly pleased with them, not trying to push a whole bunch of different tests on us, and they also gave our cats a vitamin B shot at no extra charge. We moved to Goodrich from Auburn Hills last summer and have been taking our ever-growing animal family to Baylis Animal Clinic ever since. We have FIVE cats now (all spayed, neutered, vacinnated, etc.) and have had THREE Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs! Unfortunately one of our beloved dogs was diagnosed w/a genetic problem and had to be put down. This was a horrible and painful experience for our whole family, but the care Dr. Baylis and his staff showed us during the diagnosis, treatment and unfortunately her ending, could not have been better. They made our dog Roxy very comfortable and her care and comfort were the most important things. We have recommended this clinic to friends and family and now our whole extended family goes there!
