Would never take my dog anywhere else. My little guy LOVES to go to the vet. They are professional and very sensitive to my dog's needs. There is never a long wait and every problem he has had was quickly diagnosed and treated. I highly recommend Heritage Acres.

The vet is very unfriendly and terrible at communicating. When I leave I find myself with many unanswered questions. Some of the women that work there seem to have no clue what is going on. One of them wrote the wrong dosage on the medication for my cat. Ine time I had to call and ask additional information about my cats diagnosis and how it would affect my other pets as far as being contagious, (and it was) because they were so quick with me and did not explain anything...and they got snotty and acted like I was bothering them..”we’ll address that if it happens” She said to me when I asked her if my dog could get giardiasis from our new cat. My dog was in relatively good health before I went in there, but after 2 visits (and several hundred dollars later) he was ripping his own hair out and had scabs all over him because they gave him some heart worm prevention (shot, that says not to give to dogs with allergies) that he shouldn’t have had because he has food allergies...And I didn’t know that shot was bad for dogs with allergies before hand (because I am not a vet or vet tech) and trusted the vet with my dogs health. They blamed the allergic reaction on the weather, and I had to buy steroids to clear it up. He has food allergies, but we had them at bay, and I’ve never seen him rip his hair out before, and it started right after the shot. Wasted money and time! I am going to a new vet from not on, even if I have to drive several miles further.

Lost a star from me bc after Dr Lennemen offered to do barn calls and large animals, he refused to respond to an emergency barn call. Had to call a vet the next county over, and my goat died as a result of late treatment.

Brought my pitbull in because she wouldn't sit. The first thing the vet asked me if someone "booted her in the butt." I said no. I understand that he may be obligated to ask, but he kept asking. He also said that he thought her symptoms were from a trauma. Turned out she just needed her anal glands expressed. Very awkward interaction. Would not recommend.

We have been clients of Heritage Acres Vet Clinic for years. The doctors and staff have always been very friendly and helpful. We rescued a stray white kitten from the farm now known as "CJ". We were afraid she would be blind because of an eye issue. Dr Lenneman went above and beyond to care for her and get her what care she required. She is now doing very well and is a very playful, spoiled and loved part of our family. We have 1 dog and 3 cats that have received wonderful care from both Dr Ritchie and Dr Lenneman.

Brought my pitbull in because she wouldn't sit. The first thing the vet asked me if someone "booted her in the butt." I said no. I understand that he may be obligated to ask, but he kept asking. He also said that he thought her symptoms were from a trauma. Turned out she just needed her anal glands expressed. Very awkward interaction. Would not recommend.

We have been clients of Heritage Acres Vet Clinic for years. The doctors and staff have always been very friendly and helpful. We rescued a stray white kitten from the farm now known as "CJ". We were afraid she would be blind because of an eye issue. Dr Lenneman went above and beyond to care for her and get her what care she required. She is now doing very well and is a very playful, spoiled and loved part of our family. We have 1 dog and 3 cats that have received wonderful care from both Dr Ritchie and Dr Lenneman.
