Dr. Creighton called me after I left a message inquiring about a referral and surgery process for my dog's Cruciate Ligament repair. She was fantastic on the phone and even better in person! She walked me through every single step and made sure I had plenty of time to ask all questions I needed to. She and Dr. Hook let me bring my dog in for a consultation so he could have a positive experience with them before the surgery. They walked me through the entire process again, we're perfectly consistent in their answers, and showed me a bone model of what the surgery was fixing. Dr. Hook called me after the surgery and let me know how it went (perfectly) and Beth called me a week later to follow up after my dog's surgery to make sure he was recovering well (he is). They were all there 10 days later when his sutures were removed and loved on him as of he we're their own. He was very comfortable there and loves them! They said he was recovering right on schedule or slightly faster than anticipated so they did caution me to make sure he stays on his limited exercise regime to make sure he continues to recover perfectly. We'll be going back there for his second surgery without question! They came highly recommended from my vet and several co-workers from surrounding areas and I'm so glad we went with Dr. Creighton, Dr. Hook, and Beth for my dog's surgery! 10 stars if I could! Superior care and surgical expertise! Dr. Hook and Beth Hook were very understanding as we had to make a huge decision of extensive surgery or amputation to our Chance's severely broken elbow joint . Dr. Hook "walked" us through the process of amputation and it was financially the best decision for us. They made us feel comfortable in our decision. We were so impressed with Chance's recovery and post surgical care. Dr. Hook even took care that cannot even see where the stitches were as he sewed along where the bi-color coat of our dog's chest came together. Precision care and compassion at its finest! I am the proud companion to a retired racing greyhound and Dr. Hook and his receptionist were beyond wonderful to my 3 year old male Truman. After hearing that his broken leg could not be fixed from our everyday vet, Mr. Hook was more than willing to not only fix it with a plate and 10 screws, but he fixed it with love. Truman found it a treat to go and visit Dr. Hook's office after surgery and was not in a hurry to leave. When I came to pick him up after his procedure he was lying on a pillow by the front dest because he seemed restless in his cage and wanted some company. This office genuinely cares about your animals and treats with top notch service no matter how silly you might think your questions might be. I took my tiny toy pom in to see Dr. Hook, his receptionist-who is his wife and assistant, they took WONDERFUL care of my puppy/Sofie, and were very very kind and caring. If I had to ever use a specialist ever again-this would be the one and only that I would take my little friends/pets to-they were compassionate, and affordable, and were willing to work with me-they didn't hesitate to tell me to bring her in when I was in a panick and she was injured.
