The vets here are amazing. They are very through in their evaluations and show all options avaliable. They also go through the low cost options if avaliable. I've had terrible experiences elsewhere and Dr.Gliden is the only vet I trust with my fur babies. Read Less

Huge thank you to the staff at Lakeville Animal Clinic for squeezing my dog in on a crazy Saturday (December 10th). My dog was in pain and thanks to Dr Glidden and his chiropractic training, she was able to be pain free quickly and without any invasive procedures. Dr. Glidden and his staff are compassionate and knowledgeable. They take the time to answer questions and are very thorough when explaining what is going on. My dog had a horrible mouth infection and Dr. Glidden and Ashley were diligent in getting it under control. He was very patient with me and my anxiety about the whole process. He is very professional and very compassionate to both his patients and their owners. Once everything was done Ashley called me and spent a lot of time on the phone explaining everything and answering my questions. We started going to Lakeville Animal Clinic after we got our first rescue puppy Bear almost 7 years ago. Dr. Glidden as part of the rescue did the neutering for our puppy. Because of this we wanted to start using him as all of our pet's vet. My husband and I have both had pets our entire lives, but have never been so impressed by a veterinarian. Not only were we impressed with his knowledge, but also his compassion and time spent with our animals. Since we had rescued Bear we also adopted another rescue Tank. Tank who is now 10 years old had gotten into something (which we didn't know this at the time) and Dr. Grobson was able to see us right away. Tank was very sick and lethargic. She was so compassionate and upfront about all of the possibilities as to why Tank was sick (at the time he didn't have all of the signs of foreign body ingestion). She and Dr. Gliddin saved Tank's life. We will forever be thankful. We drive around 40 minutes from Rochester Hills to go to this practice. I wouldn't have it any other way. I have 100% trust in the veterinarians and staff. I tell everybody who has a pet about this team. The techs, office staff, etc are all so nice and just wonderful. On a side note, prior to Tank getting sick we were already having a tough week. My two children (age 1 and 3) had to come with me to the vet. Most days they are normally well behaved, but this week they were being so bad especially in the office. The staff including Dr. Grobson were so nice and understanding. They didn't look at me like I was a horrible parent and just focused on helping us with Tank while trying to help me entertain my children. I appreciate that. It was such a tough situation. Anyway..this is a long review, but we will forever appreciate Lakeville Animal Clinic for all that we have done.Read Less

Dr. G is awesome, he has taken care of our dog (pit/mix) since we moved to the area 4 years ago! And the staff is amazing, Boris is not the friendliest dog ( due to issues as a puppy) and we take that into account as does the staff. They accommodate us wonderfully. We are scheduled in the morning, right after lunch or at the end of the day! Dr. Glidden has seen us through pulling teeth and spinal re-alignments. I trust the staff with my "baby" at all times! We got our first dog, a miniature dachshund,  about two years ago. I took her there for the initial checkup because she was from a rescue.Not only did Dr. Glidden do a detailed physical, but also educated me on the breed. Gave me tips for potty training, common ailments,  precautions and common advice for her needs. Our dog, Agnes, had an issue with her baby teeth not falling out and they walked me through every step of the proceedure. Not only was I extremely comfortable with the process they were very cost effective.  I even received a follow up call to see how she was doing.We returned for her upset stomach and not only did I receive free antibiotics from the local Meijer, but I was informed of many over the counter meds that I can use in the future so I don't have to do repeat visits!I highly recommend this animal clinic if you're interested on getting educated on your pets illness, breed or just general advice. Dr. Glidden cared for our 3 dogs, 3 cats and our cockatoo for many yrs. He also saved our cats' lifewhen he had a broken jaw. We thought for sure he ( Gandolf ) wasn't going to make it. I sincerely believe animals (and birds) sense and connect with Dr. G, because of his love for each of them **individually**. We've truly been blessed to have had a vet who is patient and easily explains things in laymans words if I didn't understand some medical words. Dr. Glidden and Dr. Lyons will always be my pets doctors. They do it for the animals instead of the money. There have been numerous times where Dr. Glidden has recommended a cheaper solution for situations my lovely dogs get into. Dr. Glidden says hi to my dogs and greets them compared to just coming in giving shots and leaving. He explains everything clearly and makes sure you understand the big picture. He can also recommend other veterinarians for situations that he may not be able to handle. Read Less

I have found Dr. Glidden to be one of the most knowledgeable veterinarians I have ever come across!I spent more than 7 years working for an animal hospital while I was in high school and college. After earning my bachelor degrees in both biology and behavioral science I spent several years as a zookeeper. I have worked closely with literally dozens of veterinarians with varying degrees of experience; everything from new graduates to one with close 50 years of experience.
