We love our vet! They always get us in quickly for emergencies and take great care of our dog. Our dog actually enjoys going, every time Dr. Barton comes into the room our dog gets so excited. From routine vaccines to dental cleanings & surgery she is very capable...even with extremely sensitive Greyhounds like mine. I have been going to The Animal Clinic at Oxford Mills for 16 years and can not imagine taking my loved ones anywhere else. Dr. Ura - Barton is a very caring, understanding and thoughtful veterinarian that always has time to listen to concerns and go over treatment options. If I could give no stars I would. I typically don't go out of my way to leave negative reviews. We were lied to and told if my cat needed another steroid shot in a month we wouldn't be charged a recheck fee. When I called back to question it they said it was never documented even though I was told this twice. They went ahead and charged me the office visit again. The $50 certainly won't break the bank, it's just the principal of how it was handled. I won't be back. Read Less

Dr. Barton is absolutely wonderful. She is well educated, compassionate, and always has your pet, as well as your own best interest in mind. She will not push expensive tests down your throat and make you feel like a bad parent for not being able to do them, she will however at least stress the more vital tests to start slow. She is non judgmental if you need to take time to think about stuff. She may say she feels strongly about performing a test, however in a companionate manner for you as well., it is apparent how much she loves her work. You will not feel rushed out of a room from her. Her complete office staff are as sweet as can be. Very kind and loving to people's animals . I've never had a long wait as well! Trust me, we have had bad experiences in the past by getting way over charged. Or by making us feel we are horrible people if we don't do all they say. I brought my Jazzy in for a second opinion due to a limp. (Arthritis) all the staff members made me feel so warm and welcomed. Jazzy became Ill a week later and when we returned (because I fell in love with all the staff first time) all the staff members remembered she and I.....oh how amazing that felt. I can't thank you girls enough for being so understanding and so kind! I look forward to future visits. Both of my girls will be seeing all of you very soon. You truly touched my heart.
