Vets- 5 starOffice Staff- 1 starMy cat Mahler managed to get into another fight and had to be taken to the vet. Country Cat Clinic is the only place in and around South Lyon that could see him the same day, so we gave it a try. It's a small clinic, out in the "country" that obviously caters to cats. The vets and their assistants were wonderful. They treated us both kindly, asked if I was squeamish about drawing blood and shots before they did it, and recommended some good flea preventatives. When it came time to work with the office staff, however, the experience went downhill. I was charged twice for the office visit, and sent on my way without my prior vaccine paperwork that I had brought with me and without the medication they had prescribed and charged me for. The entire visit took over two hours, mostly due to the ineptitude of the office staff. It took about 30 more minutes to fix the extra charges, find the medication my cat was prescribed and find my paperwork. When you have a pissed off, medicated tabby in a carrier, 30 minutes feels like days.On a side note, their prices are also quite high. $50 for an office visit, $40 for a feline leukemia test, $12 to shave a 2 inch section of my cat's leg...you get the idea.Update- Apparently they will also contact you about your Yelp reviews, claiming that the slow service was not the fault of the staff, but of the customer, and urging you to reconsider. I'll make this even more clear. Had the office charges not been incorrectly doubled, my credit card would not have declined the transaction. I hesitated to put that on my initial review, as it was, and is, embarrassing. However, that only added about 30 seconds to the time I waited at the counter. Fixing the doubled bill, finding my vaccination paperwork and coming back to get the medication was what took the time, and to me, showcased the ineptitude of the office staff. Read Less
