My beloved Oliver gets chronic upper respiratory infections. Whenever he undergoes stress or change, they show up. Our former vet would always charge us an arm and a leg to tell us he had another URI flare up. After promising us that if his URI returned we could just call and get his antibiotic refilled, they changed their mind and wanted to charge us another enormous amount of money to tell us what we already knew. I had it, and started looking for a new vet.I stumbled upon reviews for Avon Animal Clinic, and sounded like a good fit for us. They were able to get my kitty in within the hour. Like others have said, the clinic itself is not fancy, nor will you be blown away with the aesthetics, however what the appearance may lack, they make up for in excellent service. Dr. Mahajan was professional and personable, chatting with my (very loud) 2.5 year old son, and showing him photos of his grandson, who is my son's age, and shares the same name. He was gentle with my kitty, and very professional and personable with me. I overheard Dr. Mahajan with other patients as well, and you could tell he had a nice rapport with his clients (asking how their spouses- which he knew by name- were, how their kids were doing, etc). The prices were reasonable, and he did not try to upsell us on any unnecessary medications or procedures. The tech/receptionist was also very nice, and made us feel very welcome. Thanks, Avon. We were looking for a new place that we could trust to care for our animals, and we found it. Read Less
