Dr. Howell and staff are the best. They have been the only Vet our dogs Kasie and Chopper ever saw. Kasie was 8 weeks old when we 1st took her to see Dr. Howell, unfortunately we lost Kasie in March, Dr. Howell was there for her 1st day and her last day. We have taken our dogs Copper & Colbie to Brian since they were puppies. He is great with them and our dogs love seeing him! We trust Brian and his staff with them, they take great care of them when we have to leave them there for procedures so I know I don't have to worry. Sarah is great too! I absolutely love the Dr. Howell, Dr. Coleman and all the staff! I have 3 dogs and now a cat and they are so great with all of them. My jack-Russell/Chihuahua mix had gotten really bad allergies, and the staff did everything they could to find a solution. It has been a long road, but with there constant help we have gotten my Lexie to live comfortably. I would recommend Howell Veterinary Care Center to anyone I know! Read Less

Our sassy had a spinal cord injury , that we thought she may never walk again. Per Dr Howell and staff they kept us positive and uplifted. We now have our sassy who is now walking, jumping and happy. Took my cat in for a second opinion on her teeth. My old vet did teeth cleanings, pulled teeth and her mouth still smelled. She had a hard time eating. Dr. Howell found that she had an infection in her throat and started her on antibiotics and she has improved 100%. Very happy with results.Read Less

The care given to all my animals throughout the past 30 years has been exceptional. My 9 year old dog had cancer and was referred to MSU for surgery which went well but he developed a MERSA infection from that facility. Dr Howell was able to determine the correct medications to alleviate this and Bobby lived for 3 good and painfree years longer than the Dr's at MSU thought were possible. Also, my new pup just loves the staff. I cannot imagine anyone of sound mind thinking poorly of this office and staff. Read Less

I have had pets all my life and as we have moved around the country, have been to a lot of veterinary clinics.  That said, the Howell Veterinary Care Center is about as bad as they come.  My dog did not receive the care she deserved.  I was charged for tests that were unnecessary.  I was charged for medicine that was unnecessary.  I spent over $500 on my dog and she still wasn't well.  Fortunately my dog is healthy again - after going to another veterinarian in the area.  Do yourself and your pet a favor, steer clear of the Howell Veterinary Care Center.
