Dr. Butler is a great vet. The best. I am extremely disappointed right now that she’s decided to enter into what I can only call ‘cat discrimination’. Dr. Butler told me yesterday she’s not going to treat cats anymore after August 1. My cat Nick trusts her. I trusted her. I am deeply disappointed and unhappy about this decision. Maybe to not take any new cats would’ve been one thing but to turn her back on those she knows- not good. Just not good.

Dr. Butler & Abbi care more about treating your pets than what the bill is. I have had too many vets use tactics to empty your pockets with unnecessary treatments.

Rockford family vet is super personable, we were first time dog owners so they were super helpful in what we needed to know with a puppy. I love that I can ask them anything, anytime!

Dr Butler is wonderful... she helped us when our cats were peeing all over our house and also cried with me when I had to put down my best friend of 12 Years. She is truly a wonderful Vet and person!

For the FIRST time in her almost 5 years of age, my sweet Cali climbed on my lap and was SHEDDING like crazy!! It was EVERYWHERE! This is 110% better than what her life's been since she was a puppy....
For the FIRST time in her almost 5 years of age, my sweet Cali climbed on my lap and was SHEDDING like crazy!! It was EVERYWHERE! This is 110% better than what her life's been since she was a puppy. I cant thank my amazing vet enough for bringing my sweet baby back to a fulfilled life!

Bella has been a patient since she was a baby. Dr. Butler has always gone above and beyond for her. Bella is not always easy, she is sensitive to her shots and tends to try to eat things... like penn...
Bella has been a patient since she was a baby. Dr. Butler has always gone above and beyond for her. Bella is not always easy, she is sensitive to her shots and tends to try to eat things... like pennies. Dr. Butler and Abby make sure I know what to do with her prior to her shots and follow up care after. I feel very comfortable being able to call and discuss any concerns I may have.
I love the smaller office and Bella is very relaxed there.
It's nice having products there for purchase too. They have treats, food, toys and much more.
If your looking for a very comfortable, laid back, friendly environment, with an outstanding caring vet and staff, this is the place.

We highly recommend Rockford Family Vet. The service is truly personalized and our dog has received the best care at what we feel is a good value. We have always been given prompt advice and even found our kennel through RFV. Our experience continues to be excellent and look forward to visits, as does our dog.

We love Rockford Family Vet! We have a geriatric dog and a puppy and they are knowledgeable about both. You can also tell they LOVE pets! This is the perfect vet for us!

Dr. Butler and Abbi are so loving with Eve. Eve honestly cannot control herself when she knows we are going to see the ladies at Rockford Family Vet. They love and care for each of their patients as if they were their own Furry family member. They have 7 wonderful dogs of their own and all are so healthy and well cared for. I wouldn't want my Eve to go anywhere else. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I love being able to get my dog's food and other supplies so close by! Dr. Butler has cared for my dog since they moved to Rockford and I am very pleased with her professionalism and concern for my dog's welfare. I like the smaller office; we get great service here and they are happy to answer all my questions. Don't let the small office size fool you; I am confident that I would not receive any better treatment in a larger facility.

Based on requests from our clients, we extended our hours to accommodate after 5 pm appointments and prescription pick-ups in 2014.There are larger clinics with more staff in the area that do have select Saturday hours. We have chosen to offer more personalized and one on one care for our clients, keeping the number of our staff lower. Thank you for your input and review Margo :)

Dr. Butler is a great vet. The best. I am extremely disappointed right now that she’s decided to enter into what I can only call ‘cat discrimination’. Dr. Butler told me yesterday she’s not going to treat cats anymore after August 1. My cat Nick trusts her. I trusted her. I am deeply disappointed and unhappy about this decision.
