My dog Oliver likes going to the vet. The clinic is clean, friendly, gives excellent care. Dr Blajan is his primary Doctor and has taken care of him for healthy checks and when he's been sick. Evaluated my dog status post ER one week. The availability was open as we were able to get an appointment within 48 hours. When my husband arrived, he fumbled through the first door. He said they opened the second door. He reported the following:"With my dog in my arm they opened the door.""They were prompt in getting us back to a patient room as my dog was in a lot of pain. The vet arrived after 10 minute." She said she couldn't help, except refill the medications. To my disappointment, she still charged $48 even though she didn't do an exam. She told her to follow the instructions we were given by the animal emergency hospital (which was to see a vet, then follow up with Dogwood for an MRI). Read Less

This is the best, best vet that I have ever been to. All of the Veterinarians are awesome and knowledgeable but my absolute fav is Dr. Blajan. He is so incredibly kind to humans and to my little dogs. We unfortunately had to put our Brodie down a couple of months ago and he was so supportive, and empathetic. I have had a number of dogs over the years and have visited a lot of different veterinarians but there has never been one as wonderful, knowledgeable, and just a super human being as Dr. Blajan. We love the veterinarians and the staff at Animal Medical Center of Saline! Always very caring and compassionate towards our 2 dogs and 1 cat. They are very understanding of the pet/family dynamic, and acknowledge the pets as a members of our family. We have been coming to this office for our pets since I was a child (even though there was a different vet office in the city where we lived), and now that we live in Saline, we are very happy to continue to work with AMCS for the care of our animals. Animal Medical Center of Saline is the best place to bring your pet! I have taken my two cats to two other veterinarians and regretted it. AMCS is the ONLY place I'll ever take my babies. Dr. Blajan and Dr. Socha have both treated my cats and are wonderful with them! They are loving and sympathetic and know how to handle them to give them the best care and identify any problems. They understand my concerns as a cat mommy and truly care about my emotions as a pet owner. Dr. Socha and Dr. Blajan genuinely care about the health of my cats and care for them gently and thoroughly. They give me recommendations for their care and follow-up with me on how they're doing. My cat was very sick last Christmas and Dr. Blajan called after I brought her in to check on her. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff of Animal Medical Center of Saline! Very attentive staff and Dr Smith is so empathetic and caring. There are several vets closer to me but I make the drive here. I feel the best about the care for my animals here than the other 2 places I've been over the last 15 years. Like most animal lovers my dogs are my babies, and I trust them to few. First, I appreciate the fact that the office, waiting room and rooms are always clean and it is the first veterinary office I have been to that doesn't smell like wet dog. Secondly, the staff are all super kind and caring, they talk to my dog as I do, Sarah Kerby is amazing and goes out of her way to provide great service and genuinely cares for my dogs when I bring them in. Dr. Blajan, has been extremely caring, and always professional and takes time to thoroughly explain what the issues are so that I understand. Today, my dog needed emergency surgery and I am super grateful Dr Blajan came in on his day off to take care of my baby. I can't say enough good things about this office, doctors and staff. Mixed feelings after having an odd encounter with Dr Blajan. When I greeted him and tried to shake his hand as it had been awhile it was evident that was the last thing he wanted to do and then was pretty condescending throughout my entire visit for no reason at all and I found it very rude. I used to like this Dr and would choose him first but after that awkward exchange the whole time I no longer feel comfortable with him. Courtesy and common respect was lost on him this day when I've been nothing but nice to him but display has me more than likely seeking out a new veterinary practice altogether. Read Less

The technicians and the doctors don't care about making money, they solely care about the welfare of my pet. My neighbor told me how well they had handled an emergency surgery on his great dane -- with minimal expense, actually! My pastor told me how caring they were when she had to have her cat euthanized.So when I was sure my cat was a goner, instead of our regular vet -- a long drive away -- I rushed her to Animal Medical Center. I expected the usual, "Well, we'll have to do x-rays..." but instead the veterinarian (Dr. Blajan) did a simple exam with his fingers and a stethoscope.I appreciate the "simpler-is-better" approach of this veterinarian.He said my cat would probably be fine. Her intestines were NOT tied in knots, which was what I was fearing. What a relief! She had been yowling on the way over, but she had stopped. She was given IV fluids and brought back to me. We were sent home with antibiotics because of the blood coming out the back end. In retrospect, it was probably a killer furball.My cat was back to her usual self in a few days. I am very grateful that they were able to work me in with their scheduled appointments, and calm down a nervous cat-mommy so that we could both go home and recover from the ordeal. Read Less
