General Info
Lyon Veterinary Clinic is a reputable veterinary facility renowned for its comprehensive and reliable services tailored to the needs of pet owners. Lyon Veterinary Clinic in South Lyon offers flexible veterinary care by tracking animal motion, appetite patterns, and their response to environmental changes in Michigan. The first step is to discuss the daily rhythms, which include changes in energy levels, diet patterns, social behavior, sleep quality, and environmental stress. Joint health, oral cavity, skin, and postural condition are also analyzed during the study. The veterinarian examines how the animal responds to touch and pressure to check for possible pain, decreased range of motion, or muscle tightness. Analysts study historical data to detect general patterns of metabolic changes and musculoskeletal stress in conjunction with alterations in habitual behavior. The Lyon Veterinary Clinic undertakes diagnostic screenings in tandem with vaccination programs and executes blood and fecal tests while offering nutritional consultations and pain management plans. The timing of the visits also exhibits a distinct pattern – spring (allergies), summer (parasites), and winter months (arthritis) – aligning with weather-related health concerns. Breeds that are naturally anxious and prone to health problems need milestone visits for better monitoring. Pet owners are provided with detailed summaries and habit logs. They also receive follow-up care intervals and have the option for digital check-ins. Pet owners who have senior and multiple animals could request intricate scheduling systems to be set up along with telehealth services and behavior-related follow-up structures. Through carefully structured observation methods that align with natural seasonal cycles, the Lyon Veterinary Clinic helps South Lyon and Michigan pet owners predict potential problems and act accordingly which inevitably turns their veterinary visits into an effective care routine. The practice provides various services such as Spay/Neuter, In-House Pharmacy, Cold Laser Therapy, Mobile Vet Services, and Senior Pet Care. These services assist pets from basic wellness exams and common procedures to serious medical conditions, pain management, and ongoing care. Pet owners value the team’s expertise, caring communication style, and the clinic’s ability to explain medical decisions clearly. The staff focuses on consistency and building close relationships with the pet owners, whether it is about senior pet care or an urgent medical problem. The clinic also helps educate owners by explaining preventive measures fitting their pets. Lyon Veterinary Clinic’s community activities lay a strong foundation for responsible pet ownership. New and returning clients note how the clinic has modernized over the years while still providing a welcoming experience.

They’ll tell you they care about your pets, but they LIE! They are all in it for the money. Pure Hacks. If your dog has cancer, guaranteed they won’t find it. I kept telling them there’s something wrong with his stomach that he’s sensitive, but they chalked it up to his anatomy and arthritis. We went in for three check ups. They checked his blood and said they thought it was pancreatitis, AFTER I mentioned I thought that’s what it was. But it wasn’t at all. They did an x-ray just to see if they missed some thing🙄. “Omg! Look at that humongous mass in his stomach!” There is no possible way trained doctors would miss something so obvious. Went in for ultrasound. Hemangiosarcoma! The most devastating cancer ever! It was too far gone, no hope! And nothing was wrong with his pancreas. It’s all just a guessing game with these people. They saw some thing absolutely horrid and they did not bother to call us to find out how we were doing. They did not give us any instructions, nothing! They just wash their hands of us. I even called them to ask them a question and the receptionist said that the doctor would get back with me. They never did. It’s actually quite unbelievable how non-compassionate and horrible these people are in this clinic. Trust me, they will kill your dog! They don’t care! Oh, and about a month later I called them and we wanted to get a prescription for our dying dog just to make him comfortable in his last week of life and they said no they would not give us anything!! This is not an exaggeration. This is the truth! I still have a hard time believing an established veterinarian clinic can do this. You have to experience it to believe it, God I hope nobody has to go through what we through. These people need to be put out of business!!! I hope the same love & mercy is shown to them in their time of need! Read Less

I am so sorry that you had that experience. However, I do not think your pet was seen at our clinic. Your history doesn't fit with any patient we have seen recently, and you mentioned having an ultrasound done in our clinic. We have to have a specialist come in for ultrasounds, as you don't offer them ourselves, but we haven't had any serious cases seen by her such as you are describing. Again, I am so sorry that you had this experience with your pet. Our name is similar to that of other clinics in the area, and I wonder if you mistakenly thought you were on their page. If I am mistaken, I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly about what happened with your pet, as that is not the expectation I have for my doctors or staff.
