ZERO RATING should be an option. I was traveling and realized my husky-shepherd mix has a small ?tumor in her mouth. She seems to favor it like it is painful. I called and told the person answering the phone that I was traveling from out of town, we just discovered this problem and I was looking for a vet to take a look. She assured me they could. Made the appointment for Friday afternoon. I arrived, went in to check in and the lady on the right shoved a clipboard at me to provide information. The heavily tattooed woman on the left demanded to know if I had my pet's immunization records with me. I indicated I did not as I had no intention of being out of town this long, nor had I planned to bring her to a vet. She then picked up the phone demanding to know what vet clinic I take my dog to. I have taken my dogs to a holistic vet for the last 20+ years. I could provide the previous vet's name, but he passed away and being put on the spot (quite rudely I might add), I could not produce the new vet's name. The woman blurted out, "You don't take her to a vet clinic?!?" It was very condescending, like I must be stupid to just use an individual vet instead of a big clinic. Then, she informed me that the only way they would see my dog would be after they gave her a rabies vaccine. She further stated, "This is for our protection in case of a bite." At that point, I realized there was no longer any reason to be there. If these people are so condescending, disrespectful, and ignorant that they think a rabies vaccine would work instantly, they have no business in the veterinary industry. Vaccines don't work instantly, so I really think this is a way to create revenue for their clinic. As I am not from the area, I cannot recommend an alternative, but I highly recommend you not utilize this veterinary clinic.

My dog Zeus is in excruciating pain and can barely walk because his front right leg has deep gashes all over. My sister and I made an appointment at Angel Animal Hospital in Southgate, previously before going in, we spoke to the front desk lady and told her EVERYTHING that happened and she told us to bring him in. I have to carry my 90 pound pitbull everywhere and getting him in the car in general wasn’t easy because of his pain. When we got there, they were really rude to start off with and made us wait a while. Then finally, the veterinarian came in to see him and said how bad he looked. He needed x-rays, bloodwork, and to get sedated to get his leg drained, etc. He might need surgery but we don’t know because for some reason they denied my poor baby. He said, “I’m too busy to do all of that on him today”… I was shocked. I made an appointment, you told me you could help my dog, you see the rough shape he’s in and yet, you’re denying him service because you’re “busy”? WHEN THERE’S NO ONE ELSE IN THERE FOR ONE AND FOR TWO, ISN’T THAT WHAT YOU DO??? Help animals and take care of them?! Is it because he’s a pitbull or that you just don’t care??? I don’t understand. I am so disgusted in those people and that place. They wasted my time when I have work today and put my baby under more stress and pain. I am so angry!!
But don’t worry, we took him elsewhere the same day and another animal hospital helped him. He’s doing better now and the veterinarian at Angel Animal Hospital was completely wrong on his “diagnosis”. He doesn’t know anything and should not be in this profession if he doesn’t love nor care for our animals!!!! PUT THIS DISGUSTING PLACE OUT OF BUSINESS!! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! CLEARLY THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT ANIMALS!!!

My dog was having major trouble, I was panicking, and I called this place DURING hours. I let them know he was throwing up and had really bad runs and asked for advice and to set appt time for his first appt there. Never got a call back. Went to a better vet.

Unfortunately this was an end of life experience so wasn't a positive one in visit nature but we were treated very well the staff was very compassionate and patient

All of the women that work here are truly amazing and so caring. Our rescue gets VERY nervous and scared and they are so, so, good with him. I will never go to another vet.

Best vet I have been to. They treat my animals with the utmost respect. The first time I went there it was to put down my 19 year old cat who was at the end of her life and needed to be put out of her pain. They treated her like it was a human at the end of their life. Since then I have brought all my animals to them and appreciate the care, attention, and sincerity of their service. This staff is top notch!

What a horrible experience...the doctor came in for 30 seconds looked at my kitten and said there is no signs of anything wrong but lets just treat him anyways. Tried to give me a huge bill for nothin...
What a horrible experience...the doctor came in for 30 seconds looked at my kitten and said there is no signs of anything wrong but lets just treat him anyways. Tried to give me a huge bill for nothing! Came in for just a visit for a normal physical and felt like I was not treated with care and that they only interested in making money. Never will I come back! Ridiculous

I've been taking my dogs there for 5 years now. I like the vet & the assistans. Their prices are very reasonable & they work with you. 1 of my dogs needed a stone removed from her bladder. The other vet wanted $2,500.00 & he did it for $1,500.00. She's been fine ever since. Just so people know, that was caused from feeding her poor quality dog food for 4 years. Not anymore, now they only get good food.

They have to send out all lab work to another facility. It could be the difference between your dog being OK or not in the 24 hours you will have to wait for results.

Bottom line, I believe Dr. Singh/Angel Animal hospital carelessly administered medicine to my dog, that she'd never had before...Famotidine!!!! The results, it killed my little 10-year old girl, a sweetie. I called back to say that my dog wasn't drinking water, seemed extremely lethargic and her eyes became glazed over AFTER the shot......the reply: "The doctor isn't concerned about her eyes, bring her back IF you WANT or if she doesn't drink water within an hour"...No information was provided to me, that dogs have DIED from Famotadine!!!!! AND he's the professional???? So when she drank a little within 30 mins,assumption, I guess she'll be ok....She died less than 5 hours later lying on the sofa next to me...SLEEPING under the influence of Famotadine!!! Careless administration! I hate Angel Animal hospital and the callous way they displayed a cavalier attitude towards my loss! I tell everyone how much I hate Angel Animal KillersSo go there if you want. I wish you well....

We took our dog to Angel place because it was a Sunday morning. The vet checked our dog eye and said it was pink eye gave him some eye drops. During the week his eye got a little better then the follo...
We took our dog to Angel place because it was a Sunday morning. The vet checked our dog eye and said it was pink eye gave him some eye drops. During the week his eye got a little better then the following Sunday woke up and his eye was much worst so back to Angel where he wash the eye out and gave a different eye drop. The vet stated that if this continue we would have to see about cutting his hair around his eyes. Sound like it wasn't serious we took him home put the new drops in and watched him. He was not acting his self then late evening after we went out for awhile he went to put more drops in his eye and his eye was bleeding. Rush him to a Emergency vet in Novi and was told they needed to remove his eye that he had a hole in it. We feel this vet should have ran test or something to see what it was other than say its pink eye. Due to the lack of concern our dog lost an eye.

So i took my cat to healing care animal hospital in Allen park , and the doctor there was very nice, said they in fact she can bounce back, gave her medication, I would highly recommend healing animal hosp. Not this place

I now take all three of my kitties there, one of which has some medical problems. Dr. Singh, and his aids go above and beyond with very loving, caring, and affordable service.

ZERO RATING should be an option. I was traveling and realized my husky-shepherd mix has a small ?tumor in her mouth. She seems to favor it like it is painful. I called and told the person answering the phone that I was traveling from out of town, we just discovered this problem and I was looking for a vet to take a look. She assured me they could. Best vet I have been to. They treat my animals with the utmost respect. The first time I went there it was to put down my 19 year old cat who was at the end of her life and needed to be put out of her pain. They treated her like it was a human at the end of their life. Since then I have brought all my animals to them and appreciate the care, attention, and sincerity of their service. This staff is top notch!

What a horrible experience...the doctor came in for 30 seconds looked at my kitten and said there is no signs of anything wrong but lets just treat him anyways. Tried to give me a huge bill for nothing! Came in for just a visit for a normal physical and felt like I was not treated with care and that they only interested in making money. I've been taking my dogs there for 5 years now. I like the vet & the assistans. Their prices are very reasonable & they work with you. 1 of my dogs needed a stone removed from her bladder.
