Last year when I chose this facility I gave it 5 starts for the care of my pet and customer service and for pricing and cleanliness. I am so mad right now I am giving it one star because the LACK of follow up and lack of timely response or ANY response from my vet and as far as I see this, the lack of care because she left me in a panic and horrible position where I had no idea what was wrong with my fur baby dog and had to demand an answer and reply from the vet that saw my dog.
Her name is Dr Olsen or Nelson ( the only woman vet)
This is the message she sent me : “Hi Fran it's Dr. Nelson from the Sparta animal clinic I'm just calling about Eli um I a.m. concerned um that there could be potentially something wrong with her heart and lungs um especially with her coughing now for several months um x-rays tell me multiple different things and they don't all agree on the same thing so that is why we are sending them out for radiologist to review them and try to give us a better idea of is there truly something wrong with the heart or ___ truly something wrong with the Longs him being safer than sorry and being under anesthesia we did send home the antibiotics to potentially treat like a bronchitis or something like that um making sure we weren't missing anything um but it definitely is something that if something is significantly changing going to an emergency clinic would be the best option for Ellie where they can do more advanced diagnostics but as long as she's maintaining her normal lovely self and doing her still intermittent coughing I think it is safe to wait until we get our results back from the radiologist to give us a better idea of where we need to go um if you have more questions give me a call back and I will try to give you a call back in between the appointments…”
THEN I NEVER HEAR BACK DESPITE HOW MANY TIMES I CALLED FOR THE RESULTS. I only spoke with the tech who read to me what she wrote. Today I find that after TWO MONTHS OF STILL WAITING the X-RAY results came in September 9th. Today is September 21!!!!!!!! I again had to call in to find out if they heard anything.
THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They go out of thier way to help your pets feel better and live life longer. Also comfort you when the end is near. GREAT people!!!

Vets are kind. There are a few office gals that can be short but they do well with the animals and I feel like their pricing is fair.

The staff at Sparta Animal Clinic are the best. They have taken care of my kids(dogs/cats) for over 15 years. My pets actually get excited about seeing the staff. Love this place.

Sadly, we had to put down our sick chicken after 4 yrs of time with us. The staff showed a ton of compassion and made the whole experience much easier. Only vet within 20 miles that would even do it. ...
Sadly, we had to put down our sick chicken after 4 yrs of time with us. The staff showed a ton of compassion and made the whole experience much easier. Only vet within 20 miles that would even do it. Half the price or more than vets that would do it. Treated our pet chicken with same care as a family pet. Recommending everybody bring pets here. Thank you for your help, sincerely Bonnie and Eric.

They were able to see my dog right away on a Saturday morning without us being a current client. I am so grateful as my Maddie was in such pain and discomfort. Everyone there was friendly and awesome....
They were able to see my dog right away on a Saturday morning without us being a current client. I am so grateful as my Maddie was in such pain and discomfort. Everyone there was friendly and awesome. Needless to say, I will be using them for all my pets’ future needs. I highly recommend!

I've been using these terrific doctors for about a year and a half. I have been very pleased with every visit. Keep in mind it takes me an hour each way to drive to this clinic and it's worth it 100%....
I've been using these terrific doctors for about a year and a half. I have been very pleased with every visit. Keep in mind it takes me an hour each way to drive to this clinic and it's worth it 100%. The doctor has a great deal of empathy and care. He even takes the time to look things up and do research to give the best possible prognosis for your animals. Who does that? Nobody.Sadly, I just lost my little pet pig whom I love very much. I turned my attention somewhere else for a few seconds and she got into some rat poisoning on the shelf in the garage. She would throw it up and it the poison ended up in her blood stream. She passed two days ago and there is a gaping hole in my heart.Thank you Sparta team for handling my experience with care and delicacy. I needed that!

They are the best around! I couldn't ask for a better place to bring your animals. Home visits for horses, treat your animals so well, and my dogs & cats. When my sister's cat was hurt REALLY bad (caught in conibear trap) we brought him in and they dropped everything to help. Amazing staff and the Doctors (veterinarians) are heaven sent!!

This compassionate and experienced team willingly took our older dog in for care and expert advice. Each staff listened patiently and communicated accurately - all on same page. Appreciate personal attention on intake by Becca. We left knowing he' s in the right hands and with your help, made best critical decisions. Our buddy is comfortable coming to the vet again. He seems like a different dog. Little things go a long way. Thank you all!!

I have an 11 year old Mi-ki and a 6 year old Boston Terrier. We have been bringing them here since they were puppies. It is a great place to bring your pets. The vets and team are amazing with the dogs and the Boston Terrier gets excited when we bring him. I would highly recommend Sparta Animal Clinic for your beloved pet's care!

I switch Vet. this year only because this place was a lot closer to home. I had a horrific experience with them. The reception crew is kind of rude & uncaring. I spent a lot of money on my dog's fract...
I switch Vet. this year only because this place was a lot closer to home. I had a horrific experience with them. The reception crew is kind of rude & uncaring. I spent a lot of money on my dog's fractured leg only for them to have made the injury worse. Towards the end, when I reported that there was some sort of an irritation and redness on my dog's leg where the vet had put a cast on, they ignored my problem, no one got back to me, which resulted to more injuries. The person I talked to on the phone was rude and made me feel like I was just being picky, in spite of the fact that I have paid them a LOT of money. I wouldn't recommend them at all!!!!

All of the Vets are very knowledgeable and kind as well. It's also great that if you have a middle of the night emergency they have a vet on call 24/7 and they'll open the office if needed.

Last year when I chose this facility I gave it 5 starts for the care of my pet and customer service and for pricing and cleanliness. Sadly, we had to put down our sick chicken after 4 yrs of time with us. The staff showed a ton of compassion and made the whole experience much easier. Only vet within 20 miles that would even do it. All of the Vets are very knowledgeable and kind as well. It's also great that if you have a middle of the night emergency they have a vet on call 24/7 and they'll open the office if needed.
