Dr Burns is receptive to the pet and the adoptive families. He shows care in addressing the concerns of the family members and the pet. His staff are friendly and helpful.
We have continued taking Louie Chauncey to Dr. Burns and Dr. Middleton. He is nearly 4 years old and his care at the office has been exceptional. He gets his nails trimmed every 5 weeks and he also gets his heart guard. The staff are helpful and friendly and Louie gets a once over every time he goes in just to make sure he is staying healthy. Dr. Burns services are affordable and the treatment of our adopted family member is always marvelous.

Dr. Burns is an amazing vet. I have taken my large dog there for 15 years for regular shots and visits. Exceptional care at great prices. It was Dr. Burns of the Walled Lake Veterinarian Hospital that removed an entire cancerous kidney from my dog when he was 11 years old. It was an intense operation, but my dog recovered quickly and was able to enjoy the whole summer, as well as 4 more summers. I would trust any pet I have with Dr. Burns and his staff.

Dr. Burns and his staff are amazing. They are caring attentive, kind and patient. I had to make the tough decision to put my cat down this weekend. Although they were very busy, they were able to fit me in and give me the attention we needed to make this difficult choice. I was heartbroken but Dr. Burns and his staff were so kind to my family and I. He spent time with me that I know he did not have to spend with me. I recommend this office and these doctors to EVERY pet owner. This is such a wonderful place. I will never take any animal anywhere else again.

It’s the Cleveland Clinic for animals. Veterinary medicine is an art and a science and Dr. Burns, Dr. Middleton, and Dr. Weber and their wonderful staff members have mastered it. I have a dog they have saved over and over again. You and your pet will get the most up-to-the-minute treatment from these warm and caring scholars of veterinary medicine. And compassion runs as deep as knowledge here. Healthy or not so healthy, I would recommend Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital to any owner of a pet. Our dog got lucky. So did we.

This is the greatest vet in the lakes area. Dr. Burns and his staff are top notch and know your pet, they take time with you when you have concerns. I have taken all my babies here since I have had animals don't care where I move they will always to my vet. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and treat each animal with love. My Lily doesn't do so well with strange dogs at first they make sure the waiting is empty for her and that she can just go in. Like I said they are best. Their prices are reasonable have never felt like they charged me for things I didn't need.

LOVED Dr. Burns. We went for our first visit last night and had the best experience. We had been going to our previous vet for over a year. We never got any answers from them and it seemed like all they wanted to do was take our money and rush us out.
Dr. Burns answered all of our questions, explained to us what is happening with our dog, spent the amount of time a Doctor should spend with us, gave us ideas on new things to try. Both him and his vet tech loved our dog. They were nice to him, played with him while in the room. We were just so impressed by the difference of treatment we received here as opposed to our last vet!
I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The entire staff at Walled Lake Vet are outstanding. They are very attentive to the patients' needs. I went to Dr. Burns for a second opinion regarding my 11year old tabby girl. He put my mind at ease after doing appropriate tests to ensure that nothing major was going on with her (she was eating like a horse and then throwing up). Fortunately, she is improving now and becoming more like the kitten I adopted 10years ago.

Very disappointed with the service here and will avoid in the future. Perhaps I'm just too accustom to a vet that is friendly and treats animals with decency, that my experience here is unlike other reviewers. I had an amazing vet in Indiana that took the time to make my dog less nervous, here she was taken into a back room and restrained which has caused her neck skin to welt and bruise due to the treatment. The vet just said "she didn't like being restrained, it's just a little hemoglobin", quite the compassionate answer. Made me really angry. My fiancée took our dog and her explanation alone make me still heated writing this. The vet tech kneed our dog when she was close to him. For someone whose chosen job is to work with dogs what kind of action is that. Along with the antiquated facility the upkeep is simply dirty, it is disgusting.I would never recommend this place. This is just one man's opinion. Endowed by my creator with certain unalienable rights.

I have had pets for over 50 years and Walled Lake Vet is the best place I have been on both sides of Michigan. Your pet is their top priority. They were more concerned about their Health than the money when I was unemployed. They treat you like family and my dogs love them and are excited to see them. I have called with questions regarding different breeds and have always had the vet call me back and give me advice on what to watch out for. I'm never in the waiting room more than a few moments before they take us to a room and play with my dog and ask about the others at home. I called Wixom Vet before choosing and found Wixom to be more expensive and cold on the phone. If I take in a sick pet, I always get a call or email afterwards to see how they are doing. They really care and are the best !!!

My dog was a patient at the Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital for 2 years and eventually, we got tired of the rude service at the front desk (obver the phone and in person) and the ridiculous rates they were charging! Plus, the actual doctors didn't even seem to be animal friendly...no attention was paid to our dog (above and beyond the actual procedure she was there for). We have since switched to the Wixom Veterinary Cinic (only minutes away) and are so pleased! They are so friendly and the doctor took to our dog right away! Their rates are much cheaper as well and their waiting area is more spacious, which is a must for avoiding animal conflicts! GO TO THE WIXOM VET! You, your dog, and your wallet will be much happier!

It was Dr. Burns of the Walled Lake Veterinarian Hospital that removed an entire cancerous kidney from my dog when he was 11 years old. It was an intense operation, but my dog recovered quickly and was able to enjoy the whole summer, as well as 4 more summers. I would trust any pet I have with Dr. Burns and his staff.

Dr. Burns and his staff are amazing. They are caring attentive, kind and patient. I had to make the tough decision to put my cat down this weekend. Although they were very busy, they were able to fit me in and give me the attention we needed to make this difficult choice. I was heartbroken but Dr. Burns and his staff were so kind to my family and I. He spent time with me that I know he did not have to spend with me. I recommend this office and these doctors to EVERY pet owner. This is such a wonderful place. I will never take any animal anywhere else again.

This is the greatest vet in the lakes area. Dr. Burns and his staff are top notch and know your pet, they take time with you when you have concerns. I have taken all my babies here since I have had animals don't care where I move they will always to my vet. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and treat each animal with love. My Lily doesn't do so well with strange dogs at first they make sure the waiting is empty for her and that she can just go in. Like I said they are best. Their prices are reasonable have never felt like they charged me for things I didn't need.

LOVED Dr. Burns. We went for our first visit last night and had the best experience. We had been going to our previous vet for over a year. We never got any answers from them and it seemed like all they wanted to do was take our money and rush us out.
Dr. Burns answered all of our questions, explained to us what is happening with our dog, spent the amount of time a Doctor should spend with us, gave us ideas on new things to try. Both him and his vet tech loved our dog. They were nice to him, played with him while in the room. We were just so impressed by the difference of treatment we received here as opposed to our last vet!
I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The entire staff at Walled Lake Vet are outstanding. They are very attentive to the patients' needs. I went to Dr. Burns for a second opinion regarding my 11year old tabby girl. He put my mind at ease after doing appropriate tests to ensure that nothing major was going on with her (she was eating like a horse and then throwing up). Fortunately, she is improving now and becoming more like the kitten I adopted 10years ago.

Very disappointed with the service here and will avoid in the future. Perhaps I'm just too accustom to a vet that is friendly and treats animals with decency, that my experience here is unlike other reviewers. I had an amazing vet in Indiana that took the time to make my dog less nervous, here she was taken into a back room and restrained which has caused her neck skin to welt and bruise due to the treatment. The vet just said "she didn't like being restrained, it's just a little hemoglobin", quite the compassionate answer. Made me really angry. My fiancée took our dog and her explanation alone make me still heated writing this. The vet tech kneed our dog when she was close to him. For someone whose chosen job is to work with dogs what kind of action is that. Along with the antiquated facility the upkeep is simply dirty, it is disgusting.I would never recommend this place. This is just one man's opinion. Endowed by my creator with certain unalienable rights.

We have a lot of special needs, elderly and sick animals and the care they receive really shows commitment to each and every animal. Burns seems to nail it every time... same thing with my own animals.... prices seem pretty average to me or even lower in some cases compared to other vet services friends have used...

I have had pets for over 50 years and Walled Lake Vet is the best place I have been on both sides of Michigan. Your pet is their top priority. They were more concerned about their Health than the money when I was unemployed. They treat you like family and my dogs love them and are excited to see them. I have called with questions regarding different breeds and have always had the vet call me back and give me advice on what to watch out for. I'm never in the waiting room more than a few moments before they take us to a room and play with my dog and ask about the others at home. I called Wixom Vet before choosing and found Wixom to be more expensive and cold on the phone. If I take in a sick pet, I always get a call or email afterwards to see how they are doing. They really care and are the best !!!

My dog was a patient at the Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital for 2 years and eventually, we got tired of the rude service at the front desk (obver the phone and in person) and the ridiculous rates they were charging! Plus, the actual doctors didn't even seem to be animal friendly...no attention was paid to our dog (above and beyond the actual procedure she was there for). We have since switched to the Wixom Veterinary Cinic (only minutes away) and are so pleased! They are so friendly and the doctor took to our dog right away! Their rates are much cheaper as well and their waiting area is more spacious, which is a must for avoiding animal conflicts! GO TO THE WIXOM VET! You, your dog, and your wallet will be much happier!
