Dr. Taylor ..good guy. Highly recommend. He's very through and great with my pup. His assistant is amazing very nice and patient. Place is clean employees are polite and very helpful if you have an urgent matter they get you in asap. They send you reminder notices when your pet is due to come in ..which in my world is extremely helpful because if it's not on a sticky note on my desk or a reminder on my phone I won't remember to do it.They offer treats for your pups as well. The vets here are great! We especially like Dr. Taylor. Prices seem to be on par with other vets I have visited. Only mark down is for slow wait times, and sometimes they are too busy to fit in sick pets (I have only expierenced this once) front staff has been good with our two dogs. Read Less

Very friendly staff and clean facility. Did not have to wait long to see our doctor (had an appointment) and were able to check out easily. Our pet had to have blood and urine samples drawn as well as vaccines, they were very gentle and our pet did not seem overly distressed after the procedures. Dr. Cooley is amazing! Stop all your research and just go here! A good veterinarian is hard to come by, but she is definitely one of them. We brought our cat here with a broken paw after Veterinary Emergency Service in Madison Heights did a horrific job with X-rays and splinting his arm. Our cat is quite the ninja and escaped multiple casts before we brought him to Parkview Animal Hospital. We were at the point where if he couldn't keep the cast on, surgery was our only option. Needless to say we were exhausted and desperate. Dr. Cooley to the rescue! Not only did she splint his arm, but she wrapped the cast around his body so he can't get out of it. It's not too bulky, so he can actually walk around and get in and out of the litter box on his own. Plus, she got creative for the holidays :) The bones in his paw are finally starting to come together and he now has a good chance of not needing surgery. There's usually a bit of a wait before getting into a room, but it is so worth it. Read Less

Most of the staff was exceptional. There was one person who helped us who seemed to have been having a bad day as her attitude was very off-putting. But then the doctor... I believe it was Dr. Halley (sp?).. She was amazing. Very kind, knowledgeable, and personable. We were there saying goodbye to a very beloved member of the family, and this doctor handled the situation very well. If I am ever in this unfortunate position again, I will want to be with this doctor again. Read Less

This place is a big rip off! They wanted to charge me over $860.00 for my Yorkies dental work and tried to say it's that high because of anesthesia, X-ray's and antibiotics. I called another animal clinic and they only charge around $200.00 to $300.00 for the same exact work. Please do your pocket a favor and take your animals to a place that won't take advantage of you and your love for your animal. This place is disgusting and I hope they feel ashamed to rip people off like that. My friends took their dog here before too and warned me about the bad service they received here, I really should have listened to them. I have 3 dogs. My 6 year old shih-poo and my 4 year old Lab both have been here through out there life. I love this vet, they are practical with prices and will explain what needs to happen and what cpan happen later. The groomers are wonderful and I intend for our newest family member our German Shepherd, 1yr to start going here as well. Read Less

I was referred this hospital by a friend who had only been here once for an emergency. She said they were good but is a complete understatement. The staff at Parkview is amazing. They make you feel like you've been a patient forever and went out of their way to make sure my puppy and I were comfortable. This facility is clean and well kept. The techs and the doctors are nice but talk down to you, the support staff not friendly at all. No one there seems to listen and just want to get you out of there. I only go here because it was cheaper than my previous vet that I loved. I'm thinking of going to a different office. Read Less

I have been taking my dog to this vet for 11 years. The staff has gone above and beyond for my me and my dog. They helped her overcome pancreatitis last year and now she has been diagnosed with cancer. They are very kind to me and most importantly my dog. They are very professional, sympathetic and extremely kind. I have no problems with emergency appointments or getting my dogs meds. They truly are the BEST!!! ❤���� Read Less

I've been taking my dogs here for a few years now and I really love them. There was a time in the beginning when I had to wait way too long and was ready to find a new vet. It seems that they've fixed it, or I just got lucky.My most recent trip was first shots at This vet for my rescue dog Phoebe. I hate when any vet takes my dog in back for shots. I understand some pet parents make their dogs more nervous but I don't think that's my case.Dr. Wilborn is genius and amazing. She had me give Phoebe a tongue depressor with peanut butter to lick as she gave her the injections. Great idea!Prices are very fair. Thank you Parkview. You guys are great. Read Less

Worst vet I've ever been to. Ok for vaccines but you better hope you never have an emergency. Been going there for years brought my 10 yr old dog in with stroke or seizure symptoms. She couldn't use her back legs was peeing and drooling. They told me I didn't have an appt they were too busy. They gave me some names of other vets and I was a on my own. I said what if she dies in the var they said sorry were just too busy. HORRIBLE people.I will never step foot in there again. Took her to Moore veterinary and they took us right in with us not even being a patient there. That's how you are supposed to be treated with a member of your family. We highly recommend them to anyone who has a pet they love and want gently treated with as much care love and patience as possible. In times of sadness, emergencies or the loss of a pet they are very comforting and so kind. The whole staff including, Dr. Alexander and her assistant Candie are always so friendly and full of information for any kind of questions or concerns. It is a clean enviroment for our 3 Cairn Terriers. We LOVE our doggies sooo much and we only give them the best care and that is why we take them to Parkview!!!! the only yhing we can think they can improve on is the wait time when you make an appt. I took my cat in there two weeks ago, he was given a steroid by another vet and was going into cardiac arrest, I give them credit for saving his life. That said, before this they insisted I put him to sleep if I was gonna spend several hundred dollars for him to stay over night at another facility. Long story short, they showed no compassion, or belief that my cat would make a recovery, two weeks later, I thank God, because he's almost back to normal. I almost let this place talk me into putting him down, before my senses kicked in, I am so glad I didn't, would have been one of the biggest mistakes I made. I've been taking my pets to Parkview since 2007. Over that time we've come to know the staff quite well. Through that time we've been through an once middle-aged Golden Retriever with significant health problems (who is now doing wonderfully), an elderly cat with allergies, a young cat with no issues, a middle aged shepherd mix with few issues, and a large and young pit bull who hates going to the vet and has an painful orthopedic issue. All of my pets not only receive quality treatment for health issues ranging from routine care to organ failure, but all have also been treated with kindness and love, whether it be for a long time patient who is a pleasure to care for, or a new patient who is is hostile to veterinary professionals.
