Dr. Matthew and his Staff at Amazon Animal Clinic in Westland, MI , really work with Clients. He does not seem to be run or involved with a Management Company, or Parent Company. Dr. Matthew is great even with my big nervous dog. He isn't eager to push opinions, or push you into purchases, ect.. He has a reasonable office call, that includes the exam. I sincerely love this vet. He's extremely sweet and loving towards our cat, and always has a smile. Our little baby absolutely loves him (even after the shots) and will walk up to him and be completely comfortable. Decently priced and always feel welcomed. I will always bring my animals to Amazon animal clinic. My husband and I discovered one of our cats was urinating blood. My husband worked 12 hours that day (7am-7pm) and my mother was in the hospital, so he was looking into 24 hour places to take Moomoo (my cat) when he got off work. Those places wanted 75$ just to walk in the door! My husband called amazon around 730pm just to see if they were still there and the vet drove from his house to meet my husband with our cat. !!!!Warning!!!!! DEATH pulling on the tail of my dog very hard to check him for a tumor quoted me for 300 less than what the surgery cost then he's coughing after surgery and starts swelling take home back that's when they finally  decide to tell me he had a trachea rupture and it happens but no it doesn't and only happens from his negligence using tube for anesthesia so he gets subcataneous emphysema but says it will go down in a few days it got so bad over one nite took him to er his skin was off tissue we had to put him down bc of the pain he was in my dog died a miserable death at the hands of this vet I will b reporting him please he only cares about money and not your pet I've been crying all day. I rescue cats. I cage the wild cats around by my home and take them to Dr. Matthew to get them spayed or neutered and get their vaccination shots, and I re-release them. I Pay $120.00...If anything else is wrong with the cat he will ALWAYS tell me the cost BEFORE hand!! Dr Matthew is ALWAYS willing to help with price!! He is always accommodating and will take you if you just walk right in... He very is caring!!! Every where else I call it's ALL about the MONEY! not about you or you or your PET!! I URGE you to call around ALL the other places, they want $260. to $290.00 for spay or neuter with their vaccination shots!!!! Who the can afford that?!! I am NOT by all means rich! I am a single mom living on a very low fixed income. I just have a caring heart and hate when people just throw their cats outside to fend for themselves! I tell the other vets that I rescue cats and at any one given time I'm caring/fostering for 10-15 cats if I could get a discount. They ALL tell me the same thing, NO. Terrible vet, if there was a way to give a lower rating I would! Bring your animal in for what you think is a UTI, and he will conduct & charge you for the most expensive tests except the most cost effective-A URINE TEST. I had to take my cat to a new vet (after 3 visits over a course of 6 months at Amazon) to get a second opinion because his bladder infections were too frequent and I started to question Matthews answer that he was just susceptible to them. Within 20 minutes at the new vet (VCA in Garden City) I found out my cat had end stage diabetes mellitus & it was too late to reverse the damage done to save his life. Read Less

I took my two cats to Amazing Animal Clinic for the last 4 years and I am happy with Dr.Matthews service. His clinic is clean, not a long wait, and good friendly service. They give me an estimate before they do anything. For my cat to be stayed I called other clinics and all wanted a feline leukemia test and stool test in order to do surgery. But Dr. Mathew only recommened these things, he did not force me to do them in order to spay or nueter my cats. Dr. Mathew I do not agree with these two posts. It seems like one of your past receptionist might be posting thse. I would suggest you try to find out the origin of these posts and take legal action against this habitual LIAR. Read Less

Dr. Mathew is a wonderful surgeon. He has performed surgery on two of my cats. He spayed my female and he neutered and declawed my male kitten. I have had many pets over the years, and I have not always been pleased with the veterinary care that my pets have received. The incision site for my female's spay was so small, especially compared to other girls I have had spayed elsewhere. They both recovered exceptionally quick and seemed very comfortable all things considering. The prices at Amazon Animal Clinic are very reasonable and when you consider the quality of care and the experience you are getting for what you are paying, it's actually a very good deal. The most important thing for me is that I trust Dr. Mathew and I know that my little ones are in great hands. I may have a bill to pay but the piece of mind is priceless! Read Less

I dont agree w the previous. It sounds ridiculous. When u go to the grocery store do u say u will pay them 2 days later?! I had a great experience at this clinic and they were very caring and friendly. They gave me a estimate before the procedure so there is no surprise at the end.
