General Info
In September of 1979, after working in Mason, MI for two years, Dr. Brummel opened the Hillside Veterinary Hospital on Byron Road just east of Zeeland. In November of 1983, the busy and growing practice was moved to its current location at 320 North State Street near downtown Zeeland, and renamed Zeeland Veterinary Hospital, P.C. As of 2014, we have added a new associate to the practice, Dr.Vanden Bosch. We have been privileged to serve the community for over thirty years, and would welcome the opportunity to serve you and your pet.

The staff & doctors were amazing and helped us through one of the most difficult decisions we have ever had to make. Dr. Mary R....love her & so grateful for her guidance & genuine concern not only for our beloved Cinder but our family as well. We highly recommend them & know when our hearts are ready we'll be back. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I went in as an emergency call when my small dog was bitten by a large dog. She was bleeding from her belly from a puncture, and very sore. I was recommended to go to the emergency vet in GR, the vet ...
I went in as an emergency call when my small dog was bitten by a large dog. She was bleeding from her belly from a puncture, and very sore. I was recommended to go to the emergency vet in GR, the vet seemed like he was either too scared to do anything or didn’t want to deal with it at the end of his day. The only other option he gave me was to have her put down. I had to give the suggestion of pain killers and antibiotics, he finally let me do that and we went home and took care of our dog on our own. Cleaned the wound, gave her broth and gave her the Meds. She is now perfectly fine and back to normal. Still looking for an “old fashion” vet who understands that we are not all made of money.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgable, and seem to genuinely enjoy the work they do. I brought my 3-year-old lab in for an annual check-up, and they took time to explain the whys behind each of his vaccines. The appointments were also very fast and on time, which shows they respect my time as well.The pricing is also very fair and they didn't take advantage of billing for a full follow-up appointment either, only the minor procedure. Dr. Vanden Bosch and his team did a great job and I'll be using Zeeland Veterinary Hospital from here on out!

Zeeland Veterinary Hospital was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad that we went! All of the staff are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful, and my dog loves going there. The prices are very reasonable and you can usually get in quickly. Wait times are short, and they are careful about having multiple pets in the waiting room, especially different breeds - and this helps keep everyone safe. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

The only other option he gave me was to have her put down. The staff are very friendly, knowledgable, and seem to genuinely enjoy the work they do. I brought my 3-year-old lab in for an annual check-up, and they took time to explain the whys behind each of his vaccines. The appointments were also very fast and on time, which shows they respect my time as well.The pricing is also very fair and they didn't take advantage of billing for a full follow-up appointment either, only the minor procedure. Zeeland Veterinary Hospital was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad that we went! All of the staff are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful, and my dog loves going there. The prices are very reasonable and you can usually get in quickly. Wait times are short, and they are careful about having multiple pets in the waiting room, especially different breeds - and this helps keep everyone safe.
