Vca Pineridge Animal Hospital

Andover, Minnesota
General Info
VCA Pineridge Animal Hospital, serving the local area with dedication and care, has developed a reputation for attentive service. VCA PineRidge Animal Hospital, located in Andover, understands that pets communicate through the positioning of their tails, stillness, sound, and pacing to serve homes in Minnesota. Exams start through attention, not physical contact. Staff observe precise micro-behaviors such as the exact moment an animal makes eye contact, how they breathe when a voice is directed at them, and whether they move toward or away from motion. Care then unfolds in parts. The study of interdependencies between a pet’s skin, coat, and joints relies on physical tendencies to anchor itself or demonstrate leaning or stiffening behavior. When trust indicators appear, the product's internal reviews for teeth, abdomen, and heart rhythm proceed. Pet owners give context to the changes in their daily lives, such as new noises that might trigger the pet or when specific routines, like walks or meals, came into place. VCA PineRidge Animal Hospital offers a wide array of services ranging from baseline exams and diagnostics in infancy to energy balance techniques, oral hygiene schedules, and age-onset joint checks with disease-specific plotting. Timeframes depend on behavior. Some dates escalate quickly to where the indicators of consent seem undeniable. Certain movements evolve gradually to allow the animal to implement the respective phases. “Quiet areas” and “pause zones” are simply specific spaces for tired pets to recalibrate before heading out. After clinic, healthcare services focus on how to translate home-based clinic instructions. Look at sleeping patterns, determine ways to get back routines, and see the times to watch for key signs such as detachment from the family, reduced appetite, or being protective of their bedroom and belongings. In addition to keeping track of temporal patterns, advice for owners also needs to consider other factors. When does restlessness appear? During which time of the day do hesitations occur the most? VCA PineRidge Animal Hospital helps Andover families and other Minnesota locals comprehend that pet behavior is a constant communication tool that their animals display in pauses and shifts, rather than just during emergencies. The practice provides several services such as Telehealth, Homeopathy, Mobile vet services, Prescription medications, Pet euthanasia, etc. These services assist pets during every life stage, from routine wellness and preventive care to advanced medical needs. Pet owners value the team’s effective and compassionate communication style and how the clinic explains medical decisions to clients. Whether it is senior pet care or an urgent health need, the staff seeks to offer the consistency needed to build a lasting relationship. The clinic also plays an important role in educating the owners on how to take care of the pets. The VCA Pineridge Animal Hospital collaboration also establishes a firm foundation for responsible pet owners. New and returning clients consistently praise the welcoming atmosphere and the professionalism that keeps pace with the latest veterinary practices.

Although Pine Ridge has and continues to be a pricier clinic, I have always trusted them with the care of my dogs.....Goldendoodle Ellie age 12 died in 2016 and my new puppy, a goldendoode, Looni 1 year 4 months. Took him in for an itchy tummy July 3 2018. Dr. Ihnen was AWFUL. My puppy is skittish with people he doesn't know and I told that to the assistant who was fabulous. She took time to get to know him, gave him treats and took his temperature. Dr. Ihnen took no time to win the little guy over, muzzled him for his examination and told me his behavior will most likely get worse and to get some extra training provided at the clinic. She also criticized breeders for not carefully screening dogs for allergies, temperament, etc. Looni is great with his groomers and was always picked by the trainer at obedience class to model behavior and learning. He is skittish but with a little patience and understanding the visit would have ended better for him, for me and for the 2 assistants who had to hold him down by the Doctors orders. Also, I think the Dr Ihnen could have found, at the very least, 1 positive thing to say about my dog. Never again....I will take him to someone who has the patience and love for animals to provide care for my dog and future dogs. Sharon Hettrick Read Less

VERY EXPENSIVE! $100+ for a 5-10 minute visit with a vet. That was just for the visit, the medications came to $95 which was also very high. We are established clients. We took our dog in as he had developed a cough. I walked in WITHOUT my dog and explained the situation. No one let me know that I would be charged for an "emergency" visit as I did not have an appointment. I certainly would have made one if I had known they were going to gouge us for the walk in. It was not an emergency! We were the only clients in the waiting area. I do not need a vet that has fancy furniture and an aquarium in the waiting room, just one that takes care of my pet and doesn't take advantage of me. The staff was friendly and the service adequate. My Miniature Schnauzer has a very complex diabetes issue, and my Vet, Dr. Rebecca Stever, has been taking excellent care of him for the past couple of years. She is very smart, and she is wise enough, and not at all arrogant to know that there are times when she needed to consult with other professionals located at other facilities. She does whatever is necessary to get the best medical advice possible for my best buddy. I thank her, and all the staff at PineRidge. They are all very professional, knowledgeable and caring people.
