General Info
A few of our services include: vaccinations, tick disease and heart worm testing, dental cleanings, spaying and neutering, and other surgeries when needed.
If your pet is ill or sick, we have an in house lab room to perform various test. If we cannot perform a necessary test needed, we use a lab service out of Wisconsin and can get results within 5 business days.
We have an in house pharmacy for any medications your pet may need, including monthly medications such as Heartgard and Frontline.

Dr. Ptak and her staff have always displayed the utmost professionalism and respect towards me and my lab. These folks love animals and do care about their well-being. Dr. Ptak is a top-notch veterinarian, providing thoughtful and cost-sensitive advice and treatment options. I highly recommend her and Barnesville Animal Clinic for pet health needs.

I live in Fargo but don't mind driving to Barnesville to see Dr. Ptak because she is the kindest, best vet in the area! Katie is so good with our dogs and I always trust what she has to say. My dogs are my babies so I'm not going to take them to just any vet! She asks about my family, my mom's dogs, etc. whenever we go in. Katie has a heart of gold and I recommend her to anyone!

Will never bring any of my pets back here. They diagnosed my dog with kidney failure and did nothing but sent him home to die. There were treatments and medications but none were even offered. They ...
Will never bring any of my pets back here. They diagnosed my dog with kidney failure and did nothing but sent him home to die. There were treatments and medications but none were even offered. They could have at least referred me to a vet that cared! You shouldn't become a vet when you don't care about people's pets and only care about the money. I now have a vet that cares, has done everything they can do and have been very caring and compassionate, I only wish I would have gone to them sooner.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the Barnesville Animal Clinic. My dog Harvey loves Dr. Katie!! He has had both back acl's replaced at the clinic and wouldn't have had it done anywhere ...

Cannot express in words how thankful I am for this clinic and every person that works here. This last year my husband and I moved 4 hours away and one change I'm not okay with is bringing my dogs to another clinic:) so looks like we have a lot of drives ahead of us. The staff is so wonderful, and our dogs love it there.

they always take care of my dog Frankie, and make sure he has the best care . well worth the short drive from Moorhead. service and staff are great , what can I say .. go there if you need vet care

I live in Fargo but don't mind driving to Barnesville to see Dr. Ptak because she is the kindest, best vet in the area! Katie is so good with our dogs and I always trust what she has to say. Will never bring any of my pets back here. They diagnosed my dog with kidney failure and did nothing but sent him home to die. There were treatments and medications but none were even offered. They could have at least referred me to a vet that cared! You shouldn't become a vet when you don't care about people's pets and only care about the money.
