Dr. Dan and the awesome technicians at Blaine Central are truly amazing people and have been a God send for our family. We have 3 dogs that have had many medical issues over the years and the staff at Blaine Central has treated our dogs like family with the greatest compassion. Our sweet Zoey gave us quite a scare this last weekend and we were thankful to call Monday morning and got an appt within an hour due to circumstances. I wasn't there ( I don't do well in situations like this) but my husband was really impressed with them. Today we got the call her blood work came back fine. We are hoping the medicine helps and she will be back to her silly self. My husband mentioned that he liked that they didn't pressure him into anything and answered questions throughly. We got our little Paisley 7 weeks ago and she has been coming in frequently for her puppy shots. This is the best vet we have taken our dog to out of the three different states we have lived in. The employees are always so nice and helpful. When you have a concern about your pet they do everything they can to help you out. I even get calls from them to check how my dogs are doing when something is wrong. Highly recommend this vet!! My yorkie-poo has been going here for all her needs, 2 days ago she was not feeling good at all, I got her in with out even calling ahead, when I got there they weren't sure there were any openings, Tech Lesley, squeezed us in and even though my doggie had to have x rays and some other stuff done Lesley and Dr. Dan took great care of my little girl, she even started eating that night and was feeling a lot better by the next evening. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful this clinic is, the doctors and staff. Dr. Dan and Dr. Shea took care of my kitties as long as I can remember. They had some chronic health conditions and they always worked with me to make sure they got the care they needed. In February, I was on vacation and a crisis happened with my little old man Elvis, it was time and unfortunately, I was not there to say goodbye. Even though they were also dealing with me hysterically sobbing on the phone, 2,000 miles away-I know for a fact that Dr. Shea spent extra time with my little spazz making sure his final moments were full of love and comfort. After a year of being told that our dog Raven just had "old dog lung" we decided that it was time to get a second opinion, bringing her to Blaine Central was the best decision we could have made. Everyone there was so kind, I remember my mom calling me in shock after their first appointment, telling me about how the doctor and tech were both very pregnant and were sitting on the floor with Raven through the appointment. We all really appreciate all of the staff at Blaine Central, they gave us a clear diagnosis of CHF and helped us manage it for the rest of her life. Loved our experience  here. Fitst off the place is open and clean and they give you a tour to see every part of the so you aren't worried for your pet! I loved that... Our dog Macy can get so excited around new people and the vets loved her and were so sweet to her. The staff was very informative and knowledgeable. And shared information in a way that we could understand. The prices were a little high but you are paying for clean and quality people and staff that are going to be dealing with your pet. I think that makes it worth it! They even called a few days later to see how Macy was doing and wanted an update on her - that meant a lot :) Read Less

Doctor Dan is the man!This is the third veterinarian I have used since moving to the Twin Cities and I am so glad I found them!  Having previously worked at a vet as an assistant for over five years, I'm particular about what I expect from someone in whom I entrust the care of my babies.  I expect service reminders.  I expect that you will perform NO service on my pet without informing me of the service AND the cost.  I expect that you will walk me through potential side effects of medications.  I expect to be treated like a loving parent and not a hypochondriac owner (within reason).  And I expect that you will be practical when it comes to the care of my babies.  Check, check and CHECK. Doctor Dan and his crew consistently provide exceptional service and follow up.  They are understanding of how a pet should fit into your life while providing tips on how best to manage your life for your pet.  They provide callbacks following concerns, services and tests to ensure that your baby is improving/the treatment is working/the problem has resolved (a customer service trait that MANY other vets do not provide).  Doctor Dan is not only thorough in his explanation and execution of care, but he is kind and calm with your four-legged friend.  He even gets down on the ground while chatting with us to befriend and comfort our pup. For solid veterinary care, I don't believe that people should restrict themselves to their community or district.  It's our responsibility as pet owners to provide the best care possible, even if that care is 30 minutes away.  Doctor Dan is worth the drive! We found this clinic 2 years ago and have been overwhelmed. They really care about both our dogs. We just had a dental cleaning on our older dog.
