Wife and I had came here the first time several months ago, unfortunatly due to the sudden passing of one of our dogs. Dr. Kat and the entire team handled the situation beginning to end with great professionalism and compassion, making it that much easier on us during a very difficult time. Since then, we have taken our other dog for check up/vaccinations, and couldn't be happier. Great to have such a great vet so close to home.

We have been going to see Dr Kat since shortly after she opened this practice. She has always given realistic advice, offered all options with no pressure to put our pets through expensive treatments that offered limited help. When one of my dogs passed away, I brought him in to be cremated. The staff was very compassionate, even mailing a sympathy card personally signed by each of the staff to my home. There was only one time that I had a long wait. My dog got sick during the day, but they fit me in. I just had to wait because of another emergency that was also fit in, but more urgent than mine. I was continually informed about the timing. As long as I have pets, they will be going to see Dr Kat and her staff.

We recently switched vets and are never looking back! We first brought our Great Dane pup in after he sliced his paws on some ice in our yard. They started with a less invasive method which was inexpensive to try, when that didn't work, they partnered with us to try additional methods to fix his paws. While we personally feel guilty for what happened to our pup, Champlin Park Pet Hospital made us feel like this could happen to anyone - and no matter what we were going to find a way to fix our pup! Yesterday he had surgery to fix his paws... which was totally inexpensive and all day they text us pictures and videos of our Putter and told us he would be going home with a new toy! We're so thankful we found a vet that cares, gets to know you and your pets, and is understanding of things that could happen! Thank you Dr. Kat and team! We appreciate you!

Loved this vet! We were in town visiting from AZ and one of our dogs had severe allergy problems and ended up getting an infected foot while our other dog suffered terrible anxiety from the drive up. Champlin Park Pet Hospital was close to where we were staying so we gave them a shot. I'm so glad we did! All of the staff were very nice and very accommodating getting us in right away. They got both of our boys feeling better right away and called us to follow up and check on them. We would recommend them to anyone in the area!

Last Friday morning I noticed my cat (who is also a nite time huntress) came home with a hurt leg. Waited a day then called around. 1 vet said they couldn't see her until Tuesday, another vet said the same and to give her baby aspirin and splint it. I called Champlin Park and you saw her within the hour. Told me NOT to give her baby aspirin, (bad for tummy's on kitties).You did not overcharge me then allowed me to race back in with my German Shepherd to get her nails trimmed the same day. Talk about service and professionalism. I am so very thankful to you all for your help.

We bought a puppy at the humane society, there is a list given for a free health checkup at participating vets. Champlin Park was on that list, so we took the puppy there. We also bought a bunch of vaccinations, one required a booster shot 2 weeks later. My wife handled all of this so far, I was asked to take in the dog for the booster. She set it up for 2 days before my payday, I had $47 to my name at the time. I figured that would be enough for a booster shot. It came to $52, the cashier was real mean about it. I assured her that with 3 animals at home we would cover it next time. She replied "We are not in the business of carrying debt here, we expect to be paid at the time of service." I explained that it was all I had until friday, I even apologized and assured her it would be covered next time. She pressed on "dont you have anything, a credit card, a debit card, something ?" I reiterated myself "This is all I have until payday, I will pay you in full next time." At this point she got real angry with me and said "Fine. You will owe the $5 next time, and from now on we will need to quote you an estimate upfront. If you cannot afford to pay the estimate in full prior to service we will not be able to do anything for your pet that day." Needless to say I will drive to the rogers pet clinic (763) 428-8688 before I will walk the 3 blocks to the Champlin Park Pet Hospital.I have used the Rogers clinic for 2 years now, always had the most friendly and knowledgeable service you can find.

We have had 4 dogs, each with different issues, to this vet and each of them treated great. I admit when it was the old owner, (yes thank god he retired), I did not care for it and left but now under new management it is AWSOME!! Dr. Hinson (who is the new owner), Dr. Rachel and the rest staff are fantastic!!! I would NEVER leave there. They are very reasonably priced, caring and friendly staff. If you don't pick Champlin Park Pet Hospital you are silly, THEY ARE THE BEST IN TOWN!!!! (and I mean just that)!

Dr. Liveringhouse basically told us that she is going to die and that he could either refer her on to the University or put her down because most people don't want to continue with treatment. He gave this recommendation BEFORE any tests were even performed. I told him to first run a blood test so we can figure out what we are up against before we make any rash decisions. It took her several hours back home to recover from the stress of being there. He was not quick with drawing blood or giving her fluids. Do NOT take your pet here.

He then lectured me about how bad cats are to have in a home with children. He told me that I should euthanize my constipated cat without doing any tests besides taking her temperature and looking in her mouth and ears. I was very disappointed in his attitude and bedside manner and will NEVER go back. I do not recommend this pet hospital to anyone, especially cats.

Heartbroken and obviously shaken in the office, all I got was bill pay options. NICE. Out of desperation I went to get a second opinion or at least a cheaper payment at another vet. Turns out, my dog just had an infection between his toes (it hurt him so he limped) and the medicine was $3.00. Yes $3.00. He has since made a full recovery and is back to being his rambuncious self. This vet is only looking for money - please do not let a lovable animal be put down over their greed. I let them know their mistake and all I got was a refund for my visit. Gee thanks!

Wife and I had came here the first time several months ago, unfortunatly due to the sudden passing of one of our dogs. Dr. Kat and the entire team handled the situation beginning to end with great professionalism and compassion, making it that much easier on us during a very difficult time. Since then, we have taken our other dog for check up/vaccinations, and couldn't be happier. Great to have such a great vet so close to home.

We have been going to see Dr Kat since shortly after she opened this practice. She has always given realistic advice, offered all options with no pressure to put our pets through expensive treatments that offered limited help. When one of my dogs passed away, I brought him in to be cremated. The staff was very compassionate, even mailing a sympathy card personally signed by each of the staff to my home. There was only one time that I had a long wait. My dog got sick during the day, but they fit me in. I just had to wait because of another emergency that was also fit in, but more urgent than mine. I was continually informed about the timing. As long as I have pets, they will be going to see Dr Kat and her staff.

We recently switched vets and are never looking back! We first brought our Great Dane pup in after he sliced his paws on some ice in our yard. They started with a less invasive method which was inexpensive to try, when that didn't work, they partnered with us to try additional methods to fix his paws. While we personally feel guilty for what happened to our pup, Champlin Park Pet Hospital made us feel like this could happen to anyone - and no matter what we were going to find a way to fix our pup! Yesterday he had surgery to fix his paws... which was totally inexpensive and all day they text us pictures and videos of our Putter and told us he would be going home with a new toy! We're so thankful we found a vet that cares, gets to know you and your pets, and is understanding of things that could happen! Thank you Dr. Kat and team! We appreciate you!

Loved this vet! We were in town visiting from AZ and one of our dogs had severe allergy problems and ended up getting an infected foot while our other dog suffered terrible anxiety from the drive up. Champlin Park Pet Hospital was close to where we were staying so we gave them a shot. I'm so glad we did! All of the staff were very nice and very accommodating getting us in right away. They got both of our boys feeling better right away and called us to follow up and check on them. We would recommend them to anyone in the area!

Last Friday morning I noticed my cat (who is also a nite time huntress) came home with a hurt leg. Waited a day then called around. 1 vet said they couldn't see her until Tuesday, another vet said the same and to give her baby aspirin and splint it. I called Champlin Park and you saw her within the hour. Told me NOT to give her baby aspirin, (bad for tummy's on kitties).You did not overcharge me then allowed me to race back in with my German Shepherd to get her nails trimmed the same day. Talk about service and professionalism. I am so very thankful to you all for your help.

We bought a puppy at the humane society, there is a list given for a free health checkup at participating vets. Champlin Park was on that list, so we took the puppy there. We also bought a bunch of vaccinations, one required a booster shot 2 weeks later. My wife handled all of this so far, I was asked to take in the dog for the booster. She set it up for 2 days before my payday, I had $47 to my name at the time. I figured that would be enough for a booster shot. It came to $52, the cashier was real mean about it. I assured her that with 3 animals at home we would cover it next time. She replied "We are not in the business of carrying debt here, we expect to be paid at the time of service." I explained that it was all I had until friday, I even apologized and assured her it would be covered next time. She pressed on "dont you have anything, a credit card, a debit card, something ?" I reiterated myself "This is all I have until payday, I will pay you in full next time." At this point she got real angry with me and said "Fine. You will owe the $5 next time, and from now on we will need to quote you an estimate upfront. If you cannot afford to pay the estimate in full prior to service we will not be able to do anything for your pet that day." Needless to say I will drive to the rogers pet clinic (763) 428-8688 before I will walk the 3 blocks to the Champlin Park Pet Hospital.I have used the Rogers clinic for 2 years now, always had the most friendly and knowledgeable service you can find.

As you know our pets are our children. As the vets at Champlin Park Pet hospital treat every amimal there as such. They take their time with each of their patients. We have had 4 dogs, each with different issues, to this vet and each of them treated great. I admit when it was the old owner, (yes thank god he retired), I did not care for it and left but now under new management it is AWSOME!! Dr. Hinson (who is the new owner), Dr. Rachel and the rest staff are fantastic!!! I would NEVER leave there. They are very reasonably priced, caring and friendly staff. If you don't pick Champlin Park Pet Hospital you are silly, THEY ARE THE BEST IN TOWN!!!! (and I mean just that)!

We brought our cat in because she stopped eating and was very weak. Dr. Liveringhouse basically told us that she is going to die and that he could either refer her on to the University or put her down because most people don't want to continue with treatment. He gave this recommendation BEFORE any tests were even performed. I told him to first run a blood test so we can figure out what we are up against before we make any rash decisions. It took her several hours back home to recover from the stress of being there. He was not quick with drawing blood or giving her fluids. Do NOT take your pet here.

I took my cat in on April 21, 2009 for constipation and Dr. Liveringhouse began by telling me how ""tired, overworked and burnt out"" he is. He then lectured me about how bad cats are to have in a home with children. He told me that I should euthanize my constipated cat without doing any tests besides taking her temperature and looking in her mouth and ears. I was very disappointed in his attitude and bedside manner and will NEVER go back. I do not recommend this pet hospital to anyone, especially cats.

My dog was limping really bad on one leg. Took him to this ""vet"" and he said he broke his leg. Unable to pay for high vet costs, I was devastated that my only option was to put him down. Heartbroken and obviously shaken in the office, all I got was bill pay options. NICE. Out of desperation I went to get a second opinion or at least a cheaper payment at another vet. Turns out, my dog just had an infection between his toes (it hurt him so he limped) and the medicine was $3.00. Yes $3.00. He has since made a full recovery and is back to being his rambuncious self. This vet is only looking for money - please do not let a lovable animal be put down over their greed. I let them know their mistake and all I got was a refund for my visit. Gee thanks!
