Best vet clinic I've found, hands down! All of the staff has been extremely friendly and accommodating. My girl has severe anxiety when it comes to nail trims and they got her on an anti-anxiety med to give her before she comes in, it works WONDERS. their policies aren't customer and pet focused. I had started going there, but when an emergency presented itself and they weren't accommodating I switched all of my animals back to their old vet, who is much more expensive but is very accommodating and when a pet needs to be seen that day they work them in. (in response to your post, no there was no offer to have her stay, the only offer that was given was to have her come back another day, and I did have someone lined up to come there, but as I stated I was only offered to bring her the following day, which since she's in pain was not an option) Read Less

We've brought both our cats to Corcoran Pet Care since they were kitties. The entire staff has always been very professional, caring and compassionate. Yesterday was a tough day. My wife and I had to have our cat Izzy put down due to kidney failure. This is the first time either of us have had to endure this. From the second we walked in the door, the staff went out of their way to help us feel comfortable during this difficult time. We were ushered to a comfortable private room to say goodbye to Izzy. The Vet Techs and Dr. Drummond had nothing but Izzy's comfort and ours in mind during the whole process. I was mislead by the person that answered the phone.  Because of this I had to make a return visit and take another day off work.  I am very upset with the way that I was treated and feel like they lied to me.  When I brought this up politely I received no apology nor did anyone seem to be concerned with the fact that I was lied too.  I will no longer go here and tell my friends and family to take their pets somewhere else. My husband and I recently had to send our "baby girl" to heaven. She was an 8 year old Great Dane and she was the light of our lives. Dr. Drummond and Ericka came to our home to help with this transition and believe me when I tell you that they are two of the sweetest, nicest people on the face of the earth. Compassionate, caring, loving and kind. We also have been going to Corcoran Pet Care since they opened. They have been with us through 3 of our 4 Great Danes. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. D and staff. They are compassionate when it comes time to making those hard decisions. We have been bring our animals there since I was a little girl and now I take my own there 30 years later. I always appreciate that they are too the point and list out my options. They do not try and "sell" me tests and procedures I do not need. The Vet Techs are wonderful and also offer really good advice. I can only imagine how frustrating their job can be dealing with all the people because I know the pets are the easy part. I look at it as my pets sure cost a lot less then people do to raise and sometimes you have to fork out some money to keep them and make them better. Plus they just did some updates to the center! We have been taking our dogs to Corcoran Pet Care Center since 2001.  Our appointments are always on time and we have always been satisfied with the treatments and recommendations from the vets and staff.  One of our dogs recently had to be put down due to illness and we were guided by Dr. Drummond and staff throughout the entire week that it took to make the decision.  Dr. Drummond was even available by phone on a Saturday night.  We truly appreciated his words of guidance during that process.  We will continue to bring our other dog to Corcoran Pet.  We trust their practice and like the facility and the hours of operation make it convenient to have appointments after work. It's amazing how many times I hear Corcoran Pet Care pop up in conversations with pet owners in the cities (a good 30-40 minutes away from CPC). Not that I regularly accost pet owners with questions about their pet care or anything--but when it comes up it's always surprising. It seems as though a lot of dog breeders go out of their way to take their pets to CPC. It has a good reputation that way.I grew up just a few miles from CPC, and I have many, many memories of taking various dogs and cats there for vet care as a kid. The staff was always friendly and caring--the vets were incredibly kind and knowledgeable (and were not above gently explaining things to a kid; i.e. when my dog had tumors and we had to make the decision to put him to sleep; or when my cat was shot and we had to do at-home wound care). When I moved out on my own and embarked on independent pet ownership, I still made the drive back to CPC. Not only because their care is top-notch, but also because they are--surprisingly--significantly cheaper than any vet in the cities. I haven't had to have a pet spayed/neutered in a while, but at the time the costs were somewhere around $20-25 for a male cat neuter versus $100+ for other vets around the cities. I hear now that they can have wait lists and there are rumors (that I cannot confirm) of them restricting their client base to the immediate location and existing/grandfathered in clients--but they're still worth a call.They've remodeled since I was a young 'un, and they have quite a bit in terms of food, supplies, etc. now as well.
