I was watching my parents' old, diabetic dog while they were out of the country. He developed acute pancreatitis and the rent-a-vet at banfield was being indecisive and ordering unnecessary and expens...
I was watching my parents' old, diabetic dog while they were out of the country. He developed acute pancreatitis and the rent-a-vet at banfield was being indecisive and ordering unnecessary and expensive tests. I called my dog's normal vet, but he doesn't specialize in internal medicine, so he had me call Dodge center. The doctor got on the phone right away and was SO clear with his recommendations. He was not wishy washy and gave us the reasons why each option would be beneficial or not. He helped us make an informed decision and offered follow up if we needed it. We are eternally grateful for his wisdom and professionalism with in this tough circumstance. The dog is on the mend thanks to his advice! My parents are going to have a new primary vet since, not only does my trusted vet recommend him, but we now know to trust him as well!

They used to be really good, but the last visit was lacking. The receptionist wasn't friendly and wouldn't greet me at all. The vet was 40 minutes late and proceeded to pop a cyst on my dog with his b...
They used to be really good, but the last visit was lacking. The receptionist wasn't friendly and wouldn't greet me at all. The vet was 40 minutes late and proceeded to pop a cyst on my dog with his bare fingernail & cleaned it up with paper towels, when I would of thought gloves and antiseptic would of been more in order. I'm hoping this was just a fluke & next visit will be better.

I was watching my parents' old, diabetic dog while they were out of the country. He developed acute pancreatitis and the rent-a-vet at banfield was being indecisive and ordering unnecessary and expensive tests.
