Since 1982, Flying Cloud Animal Hospital has been providing the finest professional health care for pets in the Eden Prairie area. We are a full-service small animal clinic offering preventative medical treatment and consultation, routine checkups, surgical procedures, diagnostic ultrasonography, fiber optic endoscopy and in-house laboratory analysis.

Dogs and cats are our primary patients at Flying Cloud Animal Hospital, though our veterinarians can treat pocket pets and some birds. Flying Cloud Animal Hospital is certified by the American Animal Hospital Association. Only a small number of veterinary practices in the United States receive this prestigious designation.

All they care about is making money!! Paid $1600 and they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with my puppy... kept him over night just for more money n said bring him back if he starts acting funny again and we will do an MRI...ill never take him back here!

Good service, but it's expensive. Whether they take advantage of folks in a desperate situation I can't say because I haven't compared prices. Do you really have time for that in an emergency? My dog got great care. That care isn't free. Owning pets and caring for pets is expensive imo. If you don't like that ypu shouldn't be a pet owner. Regular vet care isn't cheap either. People who say their regular vet doesn't charge as much as this place must not realize most regular vets don't even offer ultrasound exams and the like. So how could you compare costs?

My 9 month old black lab must have gotten into something that caused toxins in him. He was super lethargic, lazy and unresponsive. We showed up at 9:45pm to an eager staff ready to help us. They moved our dog up the queue due to his symptoms, and made him a priority. We left our baby over night to hear first thing in the morning that he is doing 100% better. I can’t thank the staff here enough for saving my baby!

This is the only vet that was open at 10:30 at night on a weekend, my 12 year old chihuahua started having seizures. We got him there right away and they saw he before we had time to sit down. They truly were careing and did Everything in the book to try to save him. Ultimately we decided it was just the right thing to put him to sleep. Everyone was so helpful and kind to me even though my boyfriend and I were a mess. I’ll never forget how honest and caring everyone was, they really cared about my situation and just wanted what was best for everyone. I had highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for everything you do.

I took my dog here in the middle of the night for an urgent issue. Dr. Yantes was extremely knowledgeable and clearly explained all of our treatment options with the pros and cons of each. After discussions with him, I decided to get minimal treatment (fluids given subcutaneously) and wait another day to see if she would pass her intestinal block. It was the best decision for her and turned out to be just what she needed. I am happy to say that the next morning, she was able to eat and drink and have normal BMs - no surgery needed

Today I rushed in my 14 year old cat. I was bawling my eyes out. We agreed putting her down was the right choice. They were amazing. They reassured me that it was my choice and made sure to give me as much time as I could with her. They said wonderful words to her as I held her crying while she passed on. They made me feel like it was okay to be as upset as I was and I didn’t feel rushed or judged at all. Best experience in the worst experience of my life thus far with it being the first pet that I had to get go.

Wonderful place, they were able to get my Sootsy seen urgently by the ophthalmologist quickly. Every other office I called it was weeks to get her seen. I thought she was going to lose her eye and they did a ultrasound and thorough exam and found her condition can be managed with eye drops and frequent follow up. We were expecting a huge bill and surgery to remove her eye. They were warm and friendly and explained everything and were sweet to my little girl. I would highly recommend this place they are amazing and care very much about your pet and also the owners.

They want thousands of dollars for surgery. Find another place. This place is ridiculous.

If I could pick less than 1 star I would. Crooks in scrubs. Brought my dog in for an emergency visit, walked in to an empty waiting room, took 45 minutes to talk to someone in an exam room. Spent another hour and 15 minutes waiting with my dog in an exam room for some sort of treatment plan when the doctor hit me with a $1000 price quote.
0/5 for urgency. Should not be advertising themselves as "emergency care".
0/5 for customer service
0/5 for complete disregard for you or your pets situation
Avoid this place like the plague unless you have no personal attachment to your pet, or your money.

Worse experience of my life, all these people care about is money. I brought my cat in today, suffering terribly from bladder issues. They started administering drugs and treatment BEFORE they quoted me on the overall treatment price. By the time I realized they dont care and dont do any kind of payment plan (which they never explained) they charged me $200, the only money I had which I could of used to have my cat saved at another clinic. These people will slaughter your animal with a smile. 1 Star is a joke, they shouldn't even be practicing.

If you love your animal don't bring them here. Research other 24 hour clinics before you need them. There main and only concern is $. I felt like I was buying a car not requesting emergency care for my cat. Before they begin talking to you about treatment they come in with low and high options for care ALL based on money. Was charged $600.00 for care - went to another 24 hour clinic in St Paul - they were VERY caring and conciderate. Charged me $55 for the same care provided by this clinic. What they told me and what I found tonbe true was two different things. This place cares about one thing $$$$$$$

Didn't even bring my dog in...BUT talked to Molly over the phone as to whether or not I should bring my puppy in after describing his sickness symptoms (for some reason my dad fed him a dried lime to chew on the night before not knowing they were toxic...) she was extremely sympathetic to the situation, and listened to everything I had to say! She gave her advice and assured me clinic was always there if any of my pup's symptoms changed. What a wonderful first impression! I'll be sure to keep this place in mind if anything ever comes up again (although of course we hope it won't!) :)

Good service, but it's expensive. Whether they take advantage of folks in a desperate situation I can't say because I haven't compared prices. Do you really have time for that in an emergency? I took my dog here in the middle of the night for an urgent issue. Dr. Yantes was extremely knowledgeable and clearly explained all of our treatment options with the pros and cons of each. Today I rushed in my 14 year old cat. I was bawling my eyes out. We agreed putting her down was the right choice. They were amazing. They reassured me that it was my choice and made sure to give me as much time as I could with her. They said wonderful words to her as I held her crying while she passed on. Worse experience of my life, all these people care about is money. I brought my cat in today, suffering terribly from bladder issues. They started administering drugs and treatment BEFORE they quoted me on the overall treatment price. By the time I realized they dont care and dont do any kind of payment plan (which they never explained) they charged me $200, the only money I had which I could of used to have my cat saved at another clinic. I felt like I was buying a car not requesting emergency care for my cat. Before they begin talking to you about treatment they come in with low and high options for care ALL based on money.
