I brought a 5 week old puppy in on an emergency basis. I appreciated the speed in which the puppy was seen and treated. However, I was not consulted on the antibiotic prescribed or given the opportunity to fill the prescription somewhere cheaper. The puppy was given 10ml or 2 teaspoons of fluid under his skin and I was charged 60.00 for it, even though I told the doctor that I've done it before and just need the supplies. Overall, the service was great, I just wish they had consulted and listened to me more.

The service and staff are like no other!!! Dr. Ryan and all of the techs are thoughtful, helpful and extremely caring! We’ve been to many vets (we’re a pet household of 3) and have never received such great care like we have at Skyline!!
I stumbled upon Skyline from a google search since I live in the area and was looking for a more compassionate clinic and am so grateful I did- wishing I would have found them sooner though!
If you want to go to a vet clinic where the staff treat you and your pets like they matter, with extreme love, compassion and professionalism, I highly recommend you go to Skyline!!!

I just had another great experience with the techs here. The veterinarians and techs lovingly helped me care for my two older cats until they passed, and they are now helping my family care for our new kitten. I've been taking pets here for about 7 years. I love them! Everyone has been so helpful with questions and giving us directions for taking care of our fur babies. Highly recommend!

I have found that his knowledge is unsurpassable compared to other veterinarians. He is truly aware of the best alternatives and methods possible. And better yet… He actually cares!
I have had pets for over 25 years and have never experienced a veterinarian that cared as much as Dr.Ryan does until now. He is simply the best!

I brought my dog here today for a dental fracture. The doctor was excellent, along with all the other staff. I was given a couple options for my dog and chose to do the emergency surgery for that day...
I brought my dog here today for a dental fracture. The doctor was excellent, along with all the other staff. I was given a couple options for my dog and chose to do the emergency surgery for that day. Even though they were extremely busy with surgeries that day, they were able to accommodate me and had the surgery done relatively quickly. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, I definitely recommend bringing your pet here for any type of surgery. Everyone was friendly and professional, I will definitely bring my dog here again if there is another emergency!

We just visited today with the stray cat who adopted us recently. All of the staff we talked with were friendly and helpful. Dr. Ryan outlined all of the information we needed on deciding what to do with and for our new housemate. A complete physical exam, two vaccinations and one fecal test later, we were surprised how affordable the cost was because we were expecting it to be much higher.

Dr. Ryan Speltz has cared for my Companion Dog, TinkerBelle since she was a year old. She was diagnosed with severe Kidney Disease at 9 months old and wasn't expected to live more than a year. He is the type of Doctor that is extremely intelligent, yet isn't above referring you to a specialist to make sure you receive the best and latest options available for your pet in specialty cases such as this. We did take his advice and bring her to the U of M vet clinic, though they agreed with the exact treatment options that Dr. Speltz had offered. He is extremely personable and genuinely cares for your pet. Our TinkerBelle had always been nervous around strangers and especially men, though had been fine and trusting with this Doctor since day 1. He has not only assisted in keeping our precious girl alive and comfortable for almost 4 years now, he also always shows great concern towards my health and well being. We highly recommend Dr. Ryan Speltz to anyone who loves their animal and wants to ensure the very best care for them.

We have taken our pets to Skyline for so many years, I don't even remember how long---12 to 15 years I would say. This is the real deal, folks.. The last gasp of the non-corporate father-son businesses around. They feel like family. They work with you to find the most affordable options for your pet. Like all vets, they have to get paid or they can't eat. That said, they will tell you when a less expensive medication will work as well or counsel you by phone if it's something that can be handled without an office call. When your pet's life is at its end, they will compassionately help with the euthanasia process. They even send a sympathy card, which I was not expecting! Try the Skyline family!

Absolutly not. Would never recommend this place. Out of multiple people i talked to there i was only pleased with one of the techs, and the receptionist.... Let alone my cats incisions were never properly closed up, making us do an emergency vet run in the middle of the night....for surgeries, find somewhere else to go. This place may be the cheapest one around, but you get what you pay for..and i did NOT pay for crappy care for my cats. Its better to pay more money, than to get a surgery done here, that way it would be the same price to get it done somewhere else..than to get it done here and have someone fix the incisions they failed to close up after surgery....

We have three dogs under the care of both Dr.'s Speltz at any given time. We love this clinic. The entire staff are friendly and warm. DR. Ryan and DR. Ken are readily available if you need to speak to them. We have had to use Blue Pearl on occasion (recommended by our vet) but will always come back to Skyline. If you are looking for a clinic that makes you feel welcome and it is very personal then please come to this clinic. My dogs are never afraid or overly anxious here and everyone is so gentle with them. Thanks Skyline for being my "kids" clinic.

Dr. Ryan Speltz has cared for my Companion Dog, TinkerBelle since she was a year old. She was diagnosed with severe Kidney Disease at 9 months old and wasn't expected to live more than a year. He is the type of Doctor that is extremely intelligent, yet isn't above referring you to a specialist to make sure you receive the best and latest options available for your pet in specialty cases such as this. We did take his advice and bring her to the U of M vet clinic, though they agreed with the exact treatment options that Dr. Speltz had offered. He is extremely personable and genuinely cares for your pet. Our TinkerBelle had always been nervous around strangers and especially men, though had been fine and trusting with this Doctor since day 1. He has not only assisted in keeping our precious girl alive and comfortable for almost 4 years now, he also always shows great concern towards my health and well being. We highly recommend Dr. Ryan Speltz to anyone who loves their animal and wants to ensure the very best care for them.

We have taken our pets to Skyline for so many years, I don't even remember how long---12 to 15 years I would say. This is the real deal, folks.. The last gasp of the non-corporate father-son businesses around. They feel like family. They work with you to find the most affordable options for your pet. Like all vets, they have to get paid or they can't eat. That said, they will tell you when a less expensive medication will work as well or counsel you by phone if it's something that can be handled without an office call. When your pet's life is at its end, they will compassionately help with the euthanasia process. They even send a sympathy card, which I was not expecting! Try the Skyline family!

Absolutly not. Would never recommend this place. Out of multiple people i talked to there i was only pleased with one of the techs, and the receptionist.... Let alone my cats incisions were never prop...
Absolutly not. Would never recommend this place. Out of multiple people i talked to there i was only pleased with one of the techs, and the receptionist.... Let alone my cats incisions were never properly closed up, making us do an emergency vet run in the middle of the night....for surgeries, find somewhere else to go. This place may be the cheapest one around, but you get what you pay for..and i did NOT pay for crappy care for my cats. Its better to pay more money, than to get a surgery done here, that way it would be the same price to get it done somewhere else..than to get it done here and have someone fix the incisions they failed to close up after surgery....

We have three dogs under the care of both Dr.'s Speltz at any given time. We love this clinic. The entire staff are friendly and warm. DR. Ryan and DR. Ken are readily available if you need to speak to them. We have had to use Blue Pearl on occasion (recommended by our vet) but will always come back to Skyline. If you are looking for a clinic that makes you feel welcome and it is very personal then please come to this clinic. My dogs are never afraid or overly anxious here and everyone is so gentle with them. Thanks Skyline for being my "kids" clinic.
