I called about a stray cat on my farm that I wanted to get fixed and do shots and can’t get pricing and then have to bring cat into clinic for them to take a look at I am trying to rescue this cat and also the clinic’s that I called are also only worried about money they can take a cat in and fix them and give them shots and do everything that day it’s not easy when you try and save a animal and vet also needs to want them to come to clinic for more money why can’t they just take care of them so they don’t end up dead

They are always warm and gentle with my dogs. I feel like I'm a valued customer and i don't feel like they try to push any unwanted services. They offer great care at an affordable price

Dr Scanlon and staff are always welcoming and accommodating, sympathetic and supportive. I recently had to euthenize my beloved puppy and the entire process was treated with respect, care and compassion. It made a horrible, horrible day a bit less horrible because I knew their hearts were hurting for us too.

Dr. Scanlan and his staff have been our go to veterinarian for years. They care for our personal dogs as well as client dogs if/when they need vet attention while im training at our Academy. The staff have always been knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, and easy to work with. I could not be happier with their clinic and feel fortunate to have had such great service over the years.

My dog started choking and couldn't throw anything up. Her tongue and mouth starting turning blue so I rushed her to the closest get to my house: otter lake animal care center (less than 5 min). As we were driving, she started breathing and color started returning to her mouth. It was 6:01. (Vet closes at 6:00). An employee was taking out trash in the parking lot, we asked if there was still a vet there. She said yes, we explained our situation and she offered to ask him if he could check her out. After several minutes, she came back out with a post it of a vets phone number that was 25 minutes away because "HE DOESNT HAVE THE STAFF TO DO AN X-RAY." Staff?? Not equipment. So this vet simply did not want to take 5 minutes to just listen to my dog's breathing because it was one minute past their hours of operation.The vet also suggested we "google it." Aside from the fact that neither of us had our phones because we left in such a rush, who has the time to google when someone is choking? This vet sounds like a piece of crap and I would never allow him to treat my pets because he clearly doesn't have empathy or conscience. Take your pets elsewhere. We love our current vet and that's why we drive a little extra distance to get great care. That is not here.

We bring our dog here for boarding, they have the best rates and the Sunday pickup time of 4-6 is the most reasonable of other options in the area.

Thought they were great. Sent a huge bouquet of flowers after they told us we had to put our dog down. They said they felt so bad because we were like family and there was no charge. 4 months later they sent us a bill w a finance charge with no prior bill. We would've paid instantly but we were told that because our daughter worked there they wanted to do this for us. We paid for all our 3 kitties shots and declawing etc. Very rude. Now I'm questioning if our dog really needed to be put down:( I found out from other customers what they do to some of the animals in the back if they don't cooperate. Please stay away.

Went in for dental work and told me I should put him down:( after talking to other unhappy people I realize I made the worst mistake ever. Went to another bet and they had also seen my dog and said they were 100% wrong. Stay away

Dr Scanlon and staff are always welcoming and accommodating, sympathetic and supportive. I recently had to euthenize my beloved puppy and the entire process was treated with respect, care and compassion. Dr. Scanlan and his staff have been our go to veterinarian for years. They care for our personal dogs as well as client dogs if/when they need vet attention while im training at our Academy. The staff have always been knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, and easy to work with. I could not be happier with their clinic and feel fortunate to have had such great service over the years.

My dog started choking and couldn't throw anything up. Her tongue and mouth starting turning blue so I rushed her to the closest get to my house: otter lake animal care center (less than 5 min).
