I've lived all over the county with my pet which means my records are a little ridiculous and that I have seen 6+ vets. That said, Dr. Parks is the best vet I've ever had. She took the time to get to know my pet and ask a lot of questions about her lifestyle and diet. She checked my pets whole health and asked probing questions instead of just the bare basics. I honestly didn't know a vet visit could be so great.

My husband and I bring our dog to Dr. Amos but I was really impressed when I showed up with my 16 year old cat, who had an ingrown toenail! I was thinking the worst. Sedation...other problems...(he’s old and mean) Dr. Amos and his team are the best! They had me in and out in 10 minutes! No sedation, nothing I didn’t want to do! (And he didn’t make me feel bad) They listen to you and are so nice!

I love this guy. My new rescue got into some mouse poison. I was panicked and called a animal hospital. They wanted me to take her in at a cost of 300 to get in the door. I called my Vet, and he calmly told me to give her some hydrogen peroxide. Problem solved. We've been going there now for two years: he has such a great way and love for animals. He is very knowledgeable, and really spends his time with you and your pet and makes you feel very cared for.

Great clinic. I started bringing my pets to this location after I had a terrible experience at a corporate chain. They really care about your pet. The vet actually played with one of my dogs the whole time he was checking him out. It's an amazing place. They've been awesome and I'm so glad I started bringing my puppies there. 5 stars all day!!!

Dr. Amos is truly passionate about what he does, and does not act just based on increasing his bottom dollar. We used Dr. Amos when we lived in South Minneapolis, and were always very impressed by the level of detail he puts into his work. About a year after we moved from South Minneapolis, our dog developed a cancerous tumor on her leg. We called Dr. Amos to get an appointment for a second opinion, and found out they were completely booked for the next few days. To my surprise at 7:15 pm my phone rang, and it was Dr. Amos available to answer my questions. He candidly informed me based on the information I gave him that he agreed with the previous vet, and did not feel the need to schedule an additional appointment. I highly recommend anyone looking for a good, honest veterinarian to choose Nokomis Pet Clinic.

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new vet for annual check ups. Our four year old dog Polly is very timid around strangers and previous vet appointments were always a struggle. This was by far the best vet appointment we have ever had. I could not believe how relaxed and comfortable Polly was with Dr. Amos. He took his time to get aquatinted with her and made sure she felt comfortable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

Great place! You can tell deinard really knows his stuff and loves what he does. He will tell you what you need to do straight up without any sugar coating and I love that. He is always going to do and say what is best for the animal. He goes the extra mile every time I see him and will discuss grooming, behavior modification, etc for my dog.

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new vet for annual check ups. Our four year old dog Polly is very timid around strangers and previous vet appointments were always a struggle. This was by far the best vet appointment we have ever had. I could not believe how relaxed and comfortable Polly was with Dr. Amos. He took his time to get aquatinted with her and made sure she felt comfortable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!
