I have had dogs my entire life and have never experienced such a high level of compassionate care from a Veterinarian and Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff at Minnetonka Animal Hospital have taken care of my two dogs, Otis and Gus since we moved to Minnetonka 4 years ago. Every appointment we are greeted warmly and taken care of promptly. When my 16 year old Standard Poodle couldn't get up, your wonderful staff actually came to my house to help me get Otis in the car. A room was prepared and ready for us and I was given the time I needed to say goodbye. I will be forever grateful for your kind hearted staff. Above and beyond, time and time again. Thank you.

Everyone that I met in this clinic is amazing! Dr. Leilani knew just how to handle my dog who was in pain; she touched him so gently and he melted in her care. Her assistant was Emily, who was equally gentle. I was worried he was going to die because he's 13 years old, but Dr. Leilani reassured me that it wasn't his time. She's like the dog whisperer. He had multiple problems for which they prioritized with me. They spent a great deal of time with us, educated me every step of the way, and asked my permission before tests or performing any treatment. Biscus wouldn't step on the left rear leg and his arthritic right leg was doing all the work. When we left, he was walking on both legs and wagging his tail! His diarrhea also cleared up in a couple days with the meds he received, and Laura called and e-mailed me several times during that week to ask how he was doing. We will definitely be going back to follow up on his other medical issues.

We first became familiar with Minnetonka Animal Hospital 1 year ago when our fur baby of 14 years became gravely ill and we had to utilize their end of life services. Everyone (the front desk staff, vet technicians and Dr. Howe) was extremely kind, empathetic, helpful and understanding. We were not rushed through the process but given as much time as we wanted to say goodbye to Layla and decide how we wanted to proceed. We were even given a hand made clay plaque with Layla's paw prints and name on it and a few days later received a lovely condolence card in the mail with heartfelt messages from the entire staff.
Now, 1 year later, we adopted a pup from Secondhand Hounds and her first puppy check-up was fun and very informative. We received a Puppy Handbook with tons of helpful information and referrals. We were even encouraged to stop in with Gidget anytime to say hello and receive love and puppy treats! We wholeheartedly recommend MAH for all your veterinary needs.

We brought our dog here a few times after she was diagnosed with lymphoma. They took great care of her when it was her time to leave. They offered an ornament with her paw print to remember her by. They were so kind and the whole staff sent a sympathy card to us. After months went by we adopted a new pet from the Humane Society. We brought him here for his first visit and Dr. Michelle is great! She suggested we bring him to some dog obedience classes and he has been doing better ever since! He even had to go to the emergency vet for an allergic reaction and they even called to check on him. These are wonderful people who work here. They truly care for all the animals.

The vet was respectful, knowledgeable, and you could tell she really cared about cats. I thought the fees were fair and similar to other clinics I have been to however, the service and caring were superior.

I can see a little bit of a price difference, but that's just crazy, less product and more money. I was looking for new vet for both my dogs on this side of town, but since they clearly overcharge for simple things like this, I can't imagine what other services they overprice. I could not be happier with the quality of care that my bunny, Alice, received. The time that Dr. Kaaren Howe put into investigating and treating my bunny's complex health issue was above and beyond any other vet I've ever seen. With her help, Alice is recovering from an illness that had been going on for about six months. I highly recommend this clinic and this vet for rabbit owners. In addition, the clinic is AMAZINGLY responsive and communicative. I heard from a tech twice a week to get updates on Alice and to adjust her treatment plan. I would give a thousand stars if I could.

My Cute Brown Dog gets excellent care here. She is a difficult patient (fear aggressive) and the staff has worked very hard to make all our visits positive experiences. With time, lots of cookies and Pumpkin Popsicles! Our dog has come to ADORE Dr. Amy and most of the techs. Yes, it's more expensive than some other vets and we don't always do everything recommended because of the cost. However, our dog gets excellent care.

I brought my pup here a couple weeks ago as he was quite ill and I was very concerned as my dog had never been ill before and for so long! My regular vet who had been seeing him would not see him within a reasonable amount of time and was very dismissive of me and my concern, I was almost in tears when I called and they could not have cared less I felt helpless and frustrated!! I decided to try a different vet for another opinion! I called minnetonka animal hospital and they were so caring and compassionate and took my concerns seriously from the very beginning!! They were able to see him within a couple hours and diagnosed him quickly, but we're very thorough with their questions and the exam. They were so caring and calming the whole time they listened intently to me and my concerns. It really was a stress free environment for myself and my pup and I calmed right down. They also called regularly to check on him after the exam which I thought was great! minnetonka animal hospital is over twice as far away as our previous vet but we were so happy with the treatment our dog received and how he and I were treated! We will be continuing to bring Our pup here for regular care! Great vet and all the staff was sooo friendly!!

I loved this place for two years. They were extremely kind, compassionate, and involved in caring for my dog in his terminal illness. They did their best to keep costs down, and Dr. Leilani went SO far above and beyond for me that I swore I would always come back. Recently, though, I had a chance to return with my new dog. It was simply for a yearly check and shots. The clinic is gorgeous ...it has been totally remodeled and is large and clean. Their prices, however, appear to have tripled as a result. My dog didn't even get all of his shots, as I could not afford them. The cost of the visit was $360. I was quoted an outrageous sum for a dental. and to top it all off, Dr. Leilani is on medical leave. The vet I ended up seeing had the worst "bedside manner" I have ever experienced. All I can conclude is that the cost of the remodeling and the upscale new clinic environment is driving the cost of their veterinary care. Very bad experience.

My cat was at this clinic for over 4 years but when she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, I experienced unprofessional behavior. Things deteriorated from that point onward and after 6 months of second-guessing myself, I decided to leave this clinic.First of all, a readily available treatment option for hyperthyroidism - which my cat later received and was completely cured - was never offered or discussed. Even when I continued to report her poor response to the prescribed drug. Her health declined and she lost weight for about 6-7 months, and then she was diagnosed with kidney failure. This diagnosis was communicated to me by phone, not by the vet who had been seeing my cat for over 4 years but by a new vet I had never met before. From that point on it was as if my regular vet had disappeared. Supporting the pet-owner in times like these is a major responsibility of a vet and I made up my mind to find another clinic. Which I did, and my move to Lake Harriet Veterinary Clinic has helped my cat live an active and healthy life as she gets older.

I have been taking my pets to Minnetonka Animal Hospital since 1999. They are phenomenal!! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The level of care and service has always exceeded my expectations. The veterinarians spend a great deal of time with me answering my questions. A few years ago, they told me that I shouldn't get all the vaccines for my dogs, that research showed that the rabies vaccine, distemper and other vaccines could be given every 3 years, and I should spread them out so that my dogs only get one vaccine per year. They told me it would be healthier for them and it would help them live longer and avoid potential side effects. I thought that was great, how many businesses do you know that put doing what is right above making money?? I told several friends about delaying vaccinations but they had already been to their vet and he had NOT told them that they didn't need the vaccines every single year, so they had just given their pets multiple vaccines at once.

We arrived from Australia with our Miniature Schnauzer Guinness extremely dehydrated and urinating blood. Anne was absolutely wonderful and so was Dr. Kaaren. We cannot say enough about the great service and genuine care Guinness received during his diagnosis and recovery. They will be our veterinary service into the future. I have had dogs my entire life and have never experienced such a high level of compassionate care from a Veterinarian and Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff at Minnetonka Animal Hospital have taken care of my two dogs, Otis and Gus since we moved to Minnetonka 4 years ago. Every appointment we are greeted warmly and taken care of promptly. When my 16 year old Standard Poodle couldn't get up, your wonderful staff actually came to my house to help me get Otis in the car. A room was prepared and ready for us and I was given the time I needed to say goodbye. I will be forever grateful for your kind hearted staff. Above and beyond, time and time again. Thank you.

Everyone that I met in this clinic is amazing! Dr. Leilani knew just how to handle my dog who was in pain; she touched him so gently and he melted in her care. Her assistant was Emily, who was equally gentle. I was worried he was going to die because he's 13 years old, but Dr. Leilani reassured me that it wasn't his time. She's like the dog whisperer. He had multiple problems for which they prioritized with me. They spent a great deal of time with us, educated me every step of the way, and asked my permission before tests or performing any treatment. Biscus wouldn't step on the left rear leg and his arthritic right leg was doing all the work. When we left, he was walking on both legs and wagging his tail! His diarrhea also cleared up in a couple days with the meds he received, and Laura called and e-mailed me several times during that week to ask how he was doing. We will definitely be going back to follow up on his other medical issues.

We first became familiar with Minnetonka Animal Hospital 1 year ago when our fur baby of 14 years became gravely ill and we had to utilize their end of life services. Everyone (the front desk staff, vet technicians and Dr. Howe) was extremely kind, empathetic, helpful and understanding. We were not rushed through the process but given as much time as we wanted to say goodbye to Layla and decide how we wanted to proceed. We were even given a hand made clay plaque with Layla's paw prints and name on it and a few days later received a lovely condolence card in the mail with heartfelt messages from the entire staff.
Now, 1 year later, we adopted a pup from Secondhand Hounds and her first puppy check-up was fun and very informative. We received a Puppy Handbook with tons of helpful information and referrals. We were even encouraged to stop in with Gidget anytime to say hello and receive love and puppy treats! We wholeheartedly recommend MAH for all your veterinary needs.

We brought our dog here a few times after she was diagnosed with lymphoma. They took great care of her when it was her time to leave. They offered an ornament with her paw print to remember her by. They were so kind and the whole staff sent a sympathy card to us. After months went by we adopted a new pet from the Humane Society. We brought him here for his first visit and Dr. Michelle is great! She suggested we bring him to some dog obedience classes and he has been doing better ever since! He even had to go to the emergency vet for an allergic reaction and they even called to check on him. These are wonderful people who work here. They truly care for all the animals.

I brought my cat there and found it to be very clean, pleasant and cat-friendly. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and my cat was seen quickly. The vet was respectful, knowledgeable, and you could tell she really cared about cats. I thought the fees were fair and similar to other clinics I have been to however, the service and caring were superior.

The veterinarians at this clinic are very good diagnosticians and consider my dog as a whole rather than just the issue they are diagnosing. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

I can see a little bit of a price difference, but that's just crazy, less product and more money. I was looking for new vet for both my dogs on this side of town, but since they clearly overcharge for simple things like this, I can't imagine what other services they overprice. I'll keep looking....

I could not be happier with the quality of care that my bunny, Alice, received. The time that Dr. Kaaren Howe put into investigating and treating my bunny's complex health issue was above and beyond any other vet I've ever seen. With her help, Alice is recovering from an illness that had been going on for about six months. I highly recommend this clinic and this vet for rabbit owners. In addition, the clinic is AMAZINGLY responsive and communicative. I heard from a tech twice a week to get updates on Alice and to adjust her treatment plan. I would give a thousand stars if I could.

My Cute Brown Dog gets excellent care here. She is a difficult patient (fear aggressive) and the staff has worked very hard to make all our visits positive experiences. With time, lots of cookies and Pumpkin Popsicles! Our dog has come to ADORE Dr. Amy and most of the techs. Yes, it's more expensive than some other vets and we don't always do everything recommended because of the cost. However, our dog gets excellent care.

I brought my pup here a couple weeks ago as he was quite ill and I was very concerned as my dog had never been ill before and for so long! My regular vet who had been seeing him would not see him within a reasonable amount of time and was very dismissive of me and my concern, I was almost in tears when I called and they could not have cared less I felt helpless and frustrated!! I decided to try a different vet for another opinion! I called minnetonka animal hospital and they were so caring and compassionate and took my concerns seriously from the very beginning!! They were able to see him within a couple hours and diagnosed him quickly, but we're very thorough with their questions and the exam. They were so caring and calming the whole time they listened intently to me and my concerns. It really was a stress free environment for myself and my pup and I calmed right down. They also called regularly to check on him after the exam which I thought was great! minnetonka animal hospital is over twice as far away as our previous vet but we were so happy with the treatment our dog received and how he and I were treated! We will be continuing to bring Our pup here for regular care! Great vet and all the staff was sooo friendly!!

I loved this place for two years. They were extremely kind, compassionate, and involved in caring for my dog in his terminal illness. They did their best to keep costs down, and Dr. Leilani went SO far above and beyond for me that I swore I would always come back. Recently, though, I had a chance to return with my new dog. It was simply for a yearly check and shots. The clinic is gorgeous ...it has been totally remodeled and is large and clean. Their prices, however, appear to have tripled as a result. My dog didn't even get all of his shots, as I could not afford them. The cost of the visit was $360. I was quoted an outrageous sum for a dental. and to top it all off, Dr. Leilani is on medical leave. The vet I ended up seeing had the worst "bedside manner" I have ever experienced. All I can conclude is that the cost of the remodeling and the upscale new clinic environment is driving the cost of their veterinary care. Very bad experience.

My cat was at this clinic for over 4 years but when she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, I experienced unprofessional behavior. Things deteriorated from that point onward and after 6 months of second-guessing myself, I decided to leave this clinic.First of all, a readily available treatment option for hyperthyroidism - which my cat later received and was completely cured - was never offered or discussed. Even when I continued to report her poor response to the prescribed drug. Her health declined and she lost weight for about 6-7 months, and then she was diagnosed with kidney failure. This diagnosis was communicated to me by phone, not by the vet who had been seeing my cat for over 4 years but by a new vet I had never met before. From that point on it was as if my regular vet had disappeared. Supporting the pet-owner in times like these is a major responsibility of a vet and I made up my mind to find another clinic. Which I did, and my move to Lake Harriet Veterinary Clinic has helped my cat live an active and healthy life as she gets older.

I have been taking my pets to Minnetonka Animal Hospital since 1999. They are phenomenal!! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The level of care and service has always exceeded my expectations. The veterinarians spend a great deal of time with me answering my questions. A few years ago, they told me that I shouldn't get all the vaccines for my dogs, that research showed that the rabies vaccine, distemper and other vaccines could be given every 3 years, and I should spread them out so that my dogs only get one vaccine per year. They told me it would be healthier for them and it would help them live longer and avoid potential side effects. I thought that was great, how many businesses do you know that put doing what is right above making money?? I told several friends about delaying vaccinations but they had already been to their vet and he had NOT told them that they didn't need the vaccines every single year, so they had just given their pets multiple vaccines at once.
