Was treated poorly after vet tech could not find our records. The older lady had accused us of not taking care of our dog because she could not find the previous 3 years of records. Needless to say she found the records and the records showed we always keep our dogs up to date on shots and office visits. I do not like being accused of neglecting my animals. If I was the Vet in charge and heard an employee talk to a customer like that they would be fired on the spot. Read Less

Used this facility for 10+ years, Vets were always honest and forthcoming. Their weakness lies on the customer service and scheduling levels. After my dog became very sick and would not eat, we were told (due to only one vet) that we should look elsewhere to get our dog in to be seen. With my dog showing no signs of improvement, we called in again to discuss euthanasia, we were again told to go elsewhere because with only one vet it would be a few days before we could get in. Apparently€ they need more help to serve their customers... Disappointed in this Moorhead business. Read Less

I had taken my animal to another vet. The vet they are did x-rays at the other place and it came back that my animal has a tumor in an area that is up and talk behind the leg, shoulder area. I have the x-rays and called this company to see if eight that would be able to look at the x-rays. I told Cindy that I had the x-rays and I could send them to her, her answer was well we are booking 3 to 4 weeks out because we have lost a vet so it will take about a month before we be able to see your dog. I wasn't asking to see my dog I was asking to review for a few the x-rays that I had. Are used to take my animals to this place But I will look elsewhere. Read Less

Paid to have our dogs fecal exam and the test was negative. 15 days later the dog had the worst case of worms I have ever seen. Our second dog got lathergic and really sick 3 hours after a distemper shot from this vet. We decided we just don't trust this vet with our pets anymore. Also one of their vets just up and left the clinic. Not trustworthy in my opinion. Read Less

Last week we had regular checkups for our dogs Flash and Nova. (A previous situation was that they had gotten into a tiff at the beginning of October where they were brought into the Fargo ER where we had suggested that our dogs broken tooth was lodged into our other dogs face, the vet at the ER told us the chances of that were slim to none and we were sent out with basic antibiotics) Fast forward to their regular checkups at their usual vet, FM Animal Hospital, where we were scheduled to come in at 8:30am and showed up at 8am just to be told that we could be seen right away(which is usually a nice thing) because they didn't have anyone else anyways (so why weren't we scheduled first other than morning laziness?) During the checkup we explain the situation and ask to have Novas bump examined. The vet examined it to come to the conclusion that it was merely built up scar tissue that would in no way effect Nova and that it just now looked funny but could be removed if it only bothered us to look at. Well you'd think after having a protrusion for over a month on the side of her face that swelled up when she played hard that it could possibly be that tooth we suggested... well tonight we pulled a half inch canine out of our poor dogs face that she will now have to go back to ANOTHER vet for antibiotics for the hole that is now in place of the bump. We will be expecting either vet hospitals to be paying for this bill. Read Less

My cat has been going to this vet, specifically Dr. Schlader, for 2-3 years.  They know he has a history of resorptive lesions, so I was concerned when I saw a tooth 4 months ago that did not look good.  Dr. Schlader said it was gingivitis and to brush his teeth.  I was surprised that she didn't recommend a teeth cleaning because it had been a couple years since his last teeth cleaning and he's 8 years old.  I thought the vet knew better than me and didn't really worry about it since she wasn't worried about it until his annual exam this month. It was not gingivitis, it was another resorptive lesion, and brushing his teeth does nothing for resorptive lesions, just causes him pain.  Now we are going to another vet. Read Less
