We recognize and value the special bond that develops between families and their pets and strive to provide a high level of veterinary care to support that relationship. Our goals are to provide exceptional health care for pets, and education and support for their families. Our team of Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Technician Assistants and Client Care Specialists participate in ongoing educational opportunities each year which keep us current on new medical and surgical techniques. We are proud to be an active member of AAHA which attests to our high standards of care.
Our clinic offers full service veterinary care, including in-house diagnostics, x-ray and dental suites, Doggy Daycare, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture for pets.

I went in for animal care and they offered me a care plan that they told me I could cancel at anytime free of charge (as long as it wasn't abusive month of getting it type thing). Now that I have cancelled (8 months of service in) they call me late into the evening and harass me and then when I try to explain to them why I cancelled and the care plan didn't cover what I originally got it for, they are aggressive and hang up the phone on me. I talked to local care places and they all said that the bluffs is terrible. I told them (the bluffs) that I would not be going to them for care anymore and he told me "well then I'll call all the local clinics and tell them not to help you so you can't get care for your cats". What kind of shady business does that for animal care. Also they overcharge for "holistic treatments" that did not help my sick cat at all. Other clinic gave actual medicine that cleared him up in 48 hrs.

Never have I been shown so much professional care and love for my Bunkie Boo and Barry Too than here at the Bluffs Pet Clinic. Dr. Darlene Cook is the most dedicated Veterinarian that I have ever known. Dr. Cook never rushes, she always has time for all your questions and concerns and you will find all her employees to be polite and well trained. Don't put off taking your pet to The Bluffs Pet Clinic. Your Pet deserves the best.

Receptionist put me on hold for a long time, came back and said “roughly $75 per pup with rabies/distemper” I had to tell her 6 week old pups are too young for rabies, that comes later after 2nd set of shots. Not good. Beware.
Also, most places charge about half that price

Very caring vets. I have been using them since I moved to the area three years ago. I like the integration of Eastern and Western medicine. My cat gets very anxious going to the vet and Dr. Cook spent a lot of time calming her done on her initial visit.

Dr Sasse and the staff at the Bluffs Vet clinic have been wonderful throughout the years, taking care of my pups. I have a 2 year old black lab mix that had skin issues that Dr Sasse figured out were allergies, and then I rescued a 3 month old toy poodle and she discovered puppy strangles (when the rescue vet thought it was something completely else). My now 7 month old toy poodle has made a complete recovery from the puppy strangles. I would not trust anyone else with my dogs medical care. Staff are very professional! I love it here!

Very costly, but excellent quality care. They do not take payment plans, but offer pet health insurance there through their clinic only. My beloved kitty got the most gentle care.

I brought my injured cat here last spring, and they took very good care of him with the surgery and care afterward. When our kitten was critically ill this past weekend, he had to spend the night at an emergency clinic. We had to pick him up in the morning and take him to a regular clinic to spend the day, and I suggested The Bluffs to my boyfriend. We took him there and they took SUCH good care of him, and they were so nice and patient with us and all of our questions. With their help he is eating again and running around and this morning was able to get his medicinal catheter removed! We will be coming here with all of our pets from now on. We cannot thank them enough for what they did for our little guy!

My American Brittany (Cooper) is a garbage hound. I found this out the slightly hard way when he became sick at 1am in Sunday night. After a scary trip to the emergency clinic in Rochester, Dr. Butler and the entire staff was reassuring, kind, and considerate when it came to treating my boy. Cooper had eaten not only three very poisonous people foods but had almost vomited up a thumb tack and parts of a pencil. Not only is it clear they treat your pets as their own, but they helped ease all of my anxiety. The team at Bluffs Pet Clinic is incredible! Thank you for everything you do!

There are not enough complimentary words in the English language to praise The Bluffs Vet Clinic. I am working here on assignment, some co-workers recommended the place & they accepted us like local family. Their care of my dog Cadance was superb. She had a reoccurrence of mast cell tumors & they handled two surgeries and after-care with such grace & love. They went above & beyond in researching doggie chemo options (she didn't quite qualify) and have been amazingly progressive & proactive in treating her with some Eastern medicinal herbs. No more cancer, and each time I take her in for food or to get some of her supplements, they all come out from behind the desk to greet Cadance by name. They are generous with kisses, scratches & treats. She loves The Bluffs staff, and I consider myself so very blessed to have found them & their unparalleled care. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I like the fact that Dr. Cook uses alternative medicine to treat, especially, my older animals. They are great people to work with and take great care of my animals!!

Dr Sasse and the staff at the Bluffs Vet clinic have been wonderful throughout the years, taking care of my pups.
