We are visiting from the east coast. Our 15yo toy poodle began experiencing difficulties(diarrhea x 3 days with excoriated skin with some blood) so I consulted “doctor google” for some recs on local vets. The reviews for this practice were quite good so I gave them a call. They were unable to see us(too busy) and we were looking at a 20 hr drive back the next day(they recommended other groups.) Read all the great reviews online and decided to take our cat Baby to Heritage. Very happy with our Vet Dr. Jennifer Watson. Every one was very kind to our Baby cat and will continue to take her there. We highly recommend them. I was a first time pet owner and I had no idea about the shots and vaccines required for my 2 month old puppy. I saw amazing reviews on google and called them. They helped in working out convenient timings for appointment according to my work hours. They are also excellent about reminders for the monthly puppy vaccines. The first time we visited them they gave a complementary nail trimming, water bottle and candy bag as a welcome gesture. Also, they sent a nice little card home with his picture to welcome him. We had a black lab that was 13 years old and she was our first lab. Due to old age and her quality of life our family decided to put her to rest. Dr. Toddie and Amy (veterinary technician) came out to our house and were absolutely wonderful, patient, and comforting for all of us including our black lab. This was our first visit to the Heritage Pet Hospital and the team that served my two dogs and I was outstanding. The front desk staff comfortably placed us in a room and Cheryl, the technician was in right away to start checking out our two labs. Minutes later Dr. Watson was in and took her time with us was very thorough and clearly explained any of the recommendations and treatment plans. She is was excellent with both dogs, Bergen and Wilson warmed up to her fast and a great communicator to me as a client, we sooooo enjoyed her! The staff came in and took my payment right in the room and helped me to the car with one of the dogs, which was so nice when you are over 8 months pregnant! Our first visit was excellent!  Their staff is friendly and obviously experienced with making pets and owners feel as comfortable as possible.  Our rescue pup is very anxious at vet visits, and they took the time and had the patience to help her feel settled and more relaxed.  I also appreciate that they have a new client form to complete prior to the first visit.  I was able to inform them of our dog's specific concerns and it was clear that they read it before we arrived.  We finally found the vet's office we've been looking for! I was visiting from out of state when my little dog had eaten a grape and the animal poison center told me to have him be seen by a vet immediately. I called two other animal hospitals in the area but neither would see me because they were too busy. I called Heritage and they were also very busy but kind enough to see my dog emergently and gave him the treatment he needed. I'm very thankful to Dr. Einertson and his assistant Kathy for their compassion and caring nature. I was very distressed not knowing the area and trying to find an animal hospital to see my little dog quickly. Now my dog is happy and healthy again. This is a spectacular vet!!! They care about your pet in the same way you care about your pet. I have taken my dog here since I moved to the area when he was 6 months old and they have been wonderful!! They are always happy to answer questions over the phone and even stay late in the event of an emergency. On one occasion a friend needed to get her dog there after he fell off of her deck. The doctors at Heritage were willing to stay late to see him immediately when we called. When we arrived they were prepared and so empathetic. When it was clear that the best thing was to put him to sleep the vet techs and the vet cried with my friend and I. A few weeks later my friend received in the mail a copy of her dogs foot prints pressed into clay and a card noting a donation made to an animal association in her dog's name. I will be moving out of the area soon and hope I can find another office as wonderful!! Read Less

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Einertson. He has been through thick and thin with my furbabies and me. We have navigated some complicated illnesses with his guidance. And in the end when there is nothing more that can be done he has compassionately helped my pets to The Rainbow Bridge and shed some tears right along with me. I took my turtle to be seen by Dr. Tottie because she had swollen eyes and wasn't eating. She did a good job with my turtle and told me if she wasn't better in a week to bring her back AT NO CHARGE! Well I waited a week and she wasn't better so I called the clinic so I could take her back to get re-checked and I was informed by the receptionist that the Dr. was on vacation, there wasn't anyone else there that would be able to treat my turtle and SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO TELL ME! So now I am stuck paying a second vet bill because of neglegence on their part!!! I wouldn't advise anyone to take their turtle here unless you feel like paying two vet bills!!! Read Less

I've been bringing Oscar and Felix here for 6 years, and I just love how personal and down-to-earth Dr. Einertson and Dr. Toddie have been whenever I brought them in for their annual checks.  It isn't a hurried, business get-them-in-and-out attitude which is super refreshing in times of less talk and more throughput.  They also take the time to teach the latest research and findings.  Bottom-line?  This is a local vet hospital with personable staff.  You will not find big business mentality here.   And when Oscar was having such a hard time with his urine crystals several years ago, I was such a blubbering mess and could barely speak over the telephone.  They let me bring him right away and treated him like their own for a week of me bringing him back and forth until we could manage him ourselves at home (the kitchen was set up like a convalescent home with thick plastic coverings everywhere for his urinary struggles and desire for different litter boxes because of the pain) and I'll never forget how they took my phone calls, my questions and concerns quickly and with such kindness.  In all these years, they continue to do such great follow-up on him.  He never falls through the cracks.They also give back to the community by neutering and spading stray cats (not advertised) which I think speaks volumes to their concern for animals and over-population of strays and the moral responsibility they have as a vet hospital.  Kudos to them!  I love my pet doctors!
