I brought my dog lady here on Monday (without an appointment) because a few days prior she was playing ball and her back legs slipped out from under her and she strained her back (Lady is a dachshund) I was worried about her back because she has such a long body, but she isnt a typical weiner dog, she is built like a body builder. They were able to fit her in almost immediately. They examined her and were able to give her an anti inflammatory that stopped her pain, i would gladly bring her back to this vet. I have now taken 5 of my cats here and I would never go anywhere else. Quarry Hill has kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and FUN employees! You're greeted by friendly employees right when you walk in, who also answer questions from paranoid pet parents when you call, without making you feel like you're bothering them. To the vet techs and vets that always put your animals best interests first. I've had to go through putting two cats down here, and the vets and techs were so kind and understanding during the incredibly difficult process. We were nervous when we brought home 2 barn kitties with no previous pet-owner experience, boy are we glad we found QHAH! Everyone has been so kind and helpful, I wouldnt trust my babies to anyone else. We've used quarry hill vet clinic for roughly 5 years now. We have 2 german shepherds and a cat. Our male shepherd was diagnosed with cutaneous angiomatosis as a young pup at quarry hill. This is very rare disease and we were lucky to have Dr. Anderson be so diligent in her pursuit of an answer. We've found a treatment plan to keep him feeling and looking tip top with no side effects. Staff very rude. Worst experience bringing a pet into the vet. Went there twice. Once for an initial visit as I had just adopted her. I was talked down to. Blamed me for her being 2 pounds overweight (i had her for less than a week), scolded that she wasnt perfectly obedient, among other things. Second visit was for a booster shot. My dog didnt warm up instantly to the tech so instead of getting a treat to get her to come she was dragged across the floor and aggressively picked up which my dog got a little aggressive back. And i was not allowed to come back with my dog. When they came back out i was scolded for not socializing her better. My dog has been to petsmart, many different parks, to other peoples homes, people have visited our home and she has never acted in an aggressive or antisocial way. She loves people to pet her and give her attention. I will never go back nor recommend other people come here. Poor customer service. On this page it says they pride themselves on gentle care and I have yet to see it.Read Less

Top notch staff and care. Experts in their field - accommodating and flexible and are great even squeezing us in when more acute conditions have arisen. They love on our puppy girl as if she belongs to them and have SO much patience with our old, sweet, slighty-cranky-at-home-but-turns-into-the-spawn-of-satan-at-the-vet kitty boy. After one particularly eventful kitty visit, Mary even sent us a couple of sample packets of a new product to help try to settle him down. I have referred many new pet owners.
