These women (& 2 men!) have such great love, empathy & compassion for the cats that they treat -- as well as the humans who are owned by them.
Non-specialist vets (vets who see every dog, bird & hairy thing off the street) don't have the same depth of knowledge, skill, or awareness of natural behavior for these interesting animals & miss things or diagnose based only on tests vs on appearance, intuition, knowledge, and tests (doctors of humans use all of THEIR senses; shouldn't the doctor of the most beloved family member do the same?!?)
If the curing of your sweetheart may need an expensive procedure, they will give you a firm idea of costs: tests, x-rays, surgery, anesthesia, pain control, etc.
And if the owned-human is disabled or elderly, they will assist in finding ways for you to best home treat (give the daily meds) so that you aren't getting injured & nor is sweetie (does no good if you break your hip giving the cat her meds, only to not be able to do ANYTHING for 4 months)!
Go to these great men & women. Your kitty will complain the whole way there, but on the way home, you will here an occasional "thank you for caring for me so well, Mom!" Or "thanks, Dad, for taking me to the folks with warm, small hands this time!!" Read Less
