My family went to Dr. Paul Draheim with our weiner-dog/beagle for over 14 years. On a weekday morning, our poor little girl woke up seizing. She was foaming at the mouth and had bitten her tongue and it was a truly awful experience to witness. I called Dr. Draheim's office and told them the circumstances and how our little Hazel was having seizure after seizure and we needed immediate attention due to her suffering. They stated that they were "busy" until 12pm (it was 9am at the time). I told them that this was not possible and I couldn't let her suffer until then and asked if they had any numbers of someone who could attend to her sooner. They said "No, I don't know of anyone" and hung up the phone. We were devastated that a vet clinic who had served our dog for over 14 years would treat us in such an uncaring way. They didn't seem to care about anything but their money making appointments. We were able to call Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital who took us in immediately and after 7 seizures put our well-loved family dog out of her suffering. They were kind and beyond compassionate about our situation. We are grateful to them and very disappointed with our treatment from the Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital. Read Less

Worst place ever. I had a cat who had a severe bladder problem and they told me they could get him better. They did all this stuff for 700$ and told me what to do and that he should be better the next day. Days went by and he was still lathargic, not eating, barely drinking, and he was peeing on himself even though I did everything they told me to do. We tried to call them back to ask questions about his behavior and the lady offered to do blood work for 200$. We went to a different vet that day and the vet told us that if he didn't come here, he would have been dead the next day. There was nothing we could do money wise so we had him euthanized. Please don't bring your pets here to these money hungry people, they never helped/saved my cat. Read Less

Very caring, helpful, and thorough service. The office staff, vet techs, and vets are all great! They are flexible with my schedule, and very caring with my pet! I wish every place had knowledge and customer service like this one. I highly recommend and will be coming back even though I'm moving across the metro. Read Less
