I called 4 different pet clinic and this one offered the best price, all exams are optional and not required which can save you around 50$. Staff is friendly and professional. I would never recommend this vet hospital. We had our dog in there with a life threatening health condition. And because of their policies on they care more about money then the care of our loved ones, we were went away. As a result our dog had to under go to emergency surg.ery's. Shame on you. I had an excellent experience with the Maryland Avenue Pet Hospital. Dr. Stavros and the staff were super helpful and friendly. My cat was declawed and then had a second surgery. I would highly recommend them and will be going back for any future visits. Read Less

I applied to work here a few months ago, submitted my application through an online job engine and got a cold email back from a chick named Marisa. She stated that the clinic was looking for people who were experienced with animals. I have over 10 years of volunteer work, I worked at an animal hospital as well, and even attended college for animal related causes. Being that I sent my resume over and my work is all stated in my resume, I thought this had been a mistake. I emailed her back explaining my years of compassion and experience with animals, was in my resume (that she claimed to look at) and I never heard a word back, though I was persistent with emails and calls. Maryland Pet Hospital is truly the most affordable vet office I have ever been to. We are so thankful we found them and will continue to bring Grimm and our two other dogs to them. Thanks for getting rid of those stones that were keeping Ritchie from peeing!! (sp?) He's a happy dog again, back to marking his territory! Also, thanks for taking time to get to know him. All of you with human-finicky dogs, Dr. Stavros knew that it takes time to gain a Dalmation's trust.
