After I saw and heard what my bestfriend had to go through today with her dog at this place... I'm appalled with the staff, and the boss. Beyond unprofessional how she and her dog were treated because she was there at 7:20am and they didn't open until 7:30am and she had a convulsing dog in her arms... And to have the owner of the place say to her over he phone "it's not my fuc*ing problem" just makes me speechless. Read Less

I took my 3 year old dog to this vet at 715AM. They open at 730AM. I seen a lady outside walking a dog and I yelled to her "do u work here my dog needs help" she just about told me we don't open until 730. But she stopped herself. She said hold on. So I wait and wait while my dog is foaming at the mouth and convulsing herself near death. While she takes her sweet time going in to to what I'm assuming and tell the vet that there is lady outside with a dog. The VET himself never showed his face. The lady ever so slowly opened the doors to let us in. Then she wanted me to FILL OUT PAPERWORK INSTEAD OF HELP MY DOG right away!!!!!! I then told them they are fucking rude. And flew to predmore vet. Where my dog had a temp of 110!!!!! We put her in a cold bath immediately. That didn't help she died three hours later. Now had this vet opened there doors right when they heard me banging on the door for help they may have saved my dogs life. My dogs temp may not have risen so high or if it had it wouldn't have been that high for as long as it was. I called the st Charles vet to speak the the VET who never showed his face (but seen my thru his window) managed to tell me yes he seen me thru his window panicking with my dog, that they do not open until 730 and he has a message on his phone that tells u to drive 30 minutes to Rochester er vet in emergency!! Also that if I went to mikes food center before it opened they would not open for me either! THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY DOG! then tells me is he is not reason for my dogs problem..... If you are vet you would think you love animals so how can anyone in that profession ever EVER turn away a suffering animal. He should have ran out to help her not made me stand outside panicking and pacing back and forth hoping to see someone while watching me from inside. Or more so when I got inside FINALLY I should NOT HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO PAPERWORK!!!!!!!Read Less

Inhumane.. The vet let my friends dog die while she was holding her dog outside panicking by the window. Vet told her " it's like the food market...they don't open doors until they're open." Great lesson for her 2 year old:( Read Less

I have been going to this vet for 2 years and the staff and doctors are very friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone, i live in rochester but they are very worth driving to see. My 2 year old cat had been having urinary tract problems one day and i brought her to the e.r. vet in rochester which they helped alittle but as soon as i brought her to st charles the next day and got her home its like she was cured and hasnt had issues since and i am very greatful for them for being there for her . I live in the Rochester area but was referred to the St Charles Vet Clinic and so decided to visit them with my pets. I was greeted by friendly professional staff and a very clean environment. Dr Berends is awesome. He is knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend this Clinic and well worth the short drive out of town. Read Less
