Had to go in to get some insulin from them on an emergency basis instead of my regular vet in Scandia and ended up paying $20 plus dollars more for the same insulin period way too much money.

Adopted a dog from a rescue and this was the vet who he had been seeing. I continued to take him here and will never return. The vet is extremely nice and friendly however, I have never been treated so poorly from the front desk staff. When I walked in to weigh my golden retriever after winter he was 75 pounds. Not uncommon weight for a golden. But he had gone up from 72 and I laughed and made a joke to my husband that it’s his winter weight. The front desk associate jumped on my case and said it’s no longer winter what’s your excuse. Mind you this was about 3 pounds on my already large golden retriever. Whenever I asked questions I was treated as if I was an idiot for asking them. They are short tempered with everyone they talk too. I continued to take him there since he needed some shots and they didn’t even bother to tell me he would need more shots in two weeks. So I got to pay two office visits when I could have done all the shots at once. When I pointed this out I was also snipped at by multiple desk clerks. Pets are an extremely important part of most people’s lives and I can’t imagine having to deal with any of their desk clerks after a stressful surgery or having to put an animal down. They should have kind people working at the desk and they do not.

Great care by a seasoned knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Prices are reasonable, and you would be hard pressed to find a more competent OFA x-ray provider... Dr. Winter knows his hips!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing staff at Stillwater vet clinic. After my lab Annie swallowed a piece of corn cob and had to have it surgically removed I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had that completely over shadowed the negative situation. Annie and I have found a new home! Great job!......

My experience was terrible recently. My dog had to get his teeth cleaned and some teeth pulled. 2 weeks afterwards he mysteriously had these skin sores and a bad bacterial infection. So of course I...
My experience was terrible recently. My dog had to get his teeth cleaned and some teeth pulled. 2 weeks afterwards he mysteriously had these skin sores and a bad bacterial infection. So of course I pay the 130.00 for this test to see what type of infection and what medicine he would need to get better. Well it took a week to get my test results back which I had to keep calling to get results. Which were inconclusive. No one from the vet has called to see how he was doing etc... also I did inquire if this bacteria infection could has come from his recent teeth cleaning and tooth extraction am I was told, it is possible that it could have. It has been 3 weeks and his sores are finally going away. I will never trust these people again with my dog. Aka family.

My pet schnoodle goes here and sees Dr. Strohmaier. We absolutely love her and the vet techs at the clinic! They are kind, compassionate, and understanding. Our little puppy broke her leg at 6 months old and they have been so great through the whole process. We are lucky to have Dr. Strohmaier and her awesome staff!

My family has brought pets here since I was a little girl, and now I bring my pets here as an adult. They were so kind and comforting when I had to put my old cat down. And they were wonderful when my dog had his first focal seizure. He was about 8 months old and I was a total wreck when I brought him in. The veterinarian talked me through everything, gave great advice, and went so far as to give me a cell phone number to contact with any further questions or if symptoms worsened. He's now almost 5 and we are still clients.

I'd like to thank all the wonderful people and Dr at Stillwater Veterinary Clinic. I was a new customer and Milo grand kitty was very sick. Dr was so kind explaining details of test and treatments. Staff was professional and alowed me to sit with Milo in kitty hospital. At no time did I feel odd or out of place no matter how worried and teary i was. When the time came to make a decision, Dr showed and explained his findings on x-rays and ultra sound- large mass in ventrical, Heart disease causing fluid build up. Nothing we could do. I felt I was not alone in any of the decisions and Milo was genually cared for. I highly recommend Stillwater Vet Clinic and will gladly use it again.

I had been going here for almost 6 years. My cat got injured so brought him in. The Dr walks in saying "This is why I don't let my cats outside." It was downhill from there. She had a HUGE attitude. Will never take any animal there again. She treated us terrible. Like we didn't care about our animals. She even said we were cruel. We are FAR from that. They should know how we treat our animals they have seen them enough in the last 6 years to know they are very healthy and loved.

Adopted a dog from a rescue and this was the vet who he had been seeing. I continued to take him here and will never return. The vet is extremely nice and friendly however, I have never been treated so poorly from the front desk staff. When I walked in to weigh my golden retriever after winter he was 75 pounds. Just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing staff at Stillwater vet clinic. After my lab Annie swallowed a piece of corn cob and had to have it surgically removed I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had that completely over shadowed the negative situation. My experience was terrible recently. My dog had to get his teeth cleaned and some teeth pulled. 2 weeks afterwards he mysteriously had these skin sores and a bad bacterial infection.
