We love taking our rabbit Lola there! Even though we have moved to Bloomington we still make it a point to go there because we think she has an awesome vet who cares about her. It is hard to find a good vet who cares for rabbits like ours does. We recently took our new rescue addition JJ who is also a rabbit to a vet closer to us and had the worst experience. The vet was rough while handling him and didn’t seem to care or have interest and the cost for just a checkup was over $200. We learned that we are so fortunate to have found Blue Sky for not just the amazing care is but the cost as well. I would go out of my way any day to bring my fur baby’s here. Read Less

From the minute you walk in to Blue Sky Animal Hospital you can feel their love & passion towards the animals and owners they work with & care for. We had an emergency with our kitten . Our old vet was unable to see us so we came to Blue sky and were greatly welcomed. We immediately switched and have not been disappointed . The Veterinarian are very knowledgeable and take the time with patients/owners to discuss what is happening with your pet. Christmas is a very busy time, and it is hard to fit even one more event into a day. That's why it was so nice to be able to get right in when my little girl developed a sudden pain at home. She loves to open presents and I couldn't stand the idea of her having pain over Christmas and not being able to enjoy Christmas eve, plus the worry about what could be wrong. My male cat has very thick and very silky fur that's mat's easily. He let's me brush his back and chest and sides but refuses to let me touch his belly and hindquarters... Therefore I take him to the vets to get his belly and back end shaved twice a year. He's very fiesty and will bite... So sometimes they have to put him out and other times not. My 2 German Shepherds and I just moved from the big city out to the country and it's always been tough to find a good Vet clinic. Dr. Johnson is the real deal - he is very professional, thorough and has a great way of explaining the circumstances to you while also providing multiple options for care.... I will never bring my pets elsewhere! Theyre affordable, caring, and very intelligent. They were able to essentially save my cats life when a different clinic misdiagnosed him and billed me big time. The staff here are wonderful and very helpful. They really care about your pet. Read Less

These people are thieves. They never give you a straight answer on what is wrong, how they are treating it, what we should do when we take them home to help the animal recover. I got our dog spayed there, they cost $500. She got infected there, so I called to take her back, they said they would treat her with no charge. After the appointment they charged me $200. I took our other dog there because he had in ear infection. They couldn't figure out the problem, I took him 3 times and it ended up costing me $500. I took our cat for a check up, the vet told me after feeling her stomach that she had a urinary tract infection. the charged me $200 and told me that she'd feel better the next day and to keep her in a kennel for 2 days. The next day, she was just the same and acted normal. There was nothing wrong with her. These people are clueless and take your money.DO NOT GO HERE. Read Less

Dr Johnson is the smartest vet I have ever met. I have jokingly refered to him as the Dr House of veterinarians. I have had two dogs who have been granted additional years of life because of his expertise, and therefore my family has been blessed with more time with our beloved dogs.
