Dr. May to the rescue! Our precious Cairn terrier, Barclay, was almost a casualty - yikes!! He secretly hid a tennis ball under the bad and actually swallowed a piece about half the size of a large coin. He’d already thrown up blood and we knew there was no time to waste. Dr. May quickly took diagnostic images that graphically showed the emergency. He took him to surgery immediately on a very busy day for him and his staff. He cleared everything to operate on Barclay and saved his life that day. We are so grateful. Dr. May and his outstanding staff have been caring for our pets for about twenty years now and there aren’t enough good things we can say about them. They added almost three healthy, happy years to our diabetic dog, Rocky’s life and helped him pass peacefully at almost thirteen. We feel fortunate to live near Dr. May and his Animal Medical Hospital in Flowood, Ms. It’s a privilege to know our fur babies are getting such skilled and compassionate care.

Dr. May and the whole staff are absolutely the best. I've owned dogs all my life and used 4-5 other vets at other cities. There is no comparison with the treatment I've always gotten and the treatment Dr. May gives. You get to go back with your dog - rooms are just like a doctors office and he treats you like you are taking your child to the doctor. Perfect! Just what I wanted. They love animals and it shows.

I've been taking Belle here for the past two years. Dr. May is very nice and personable. They are also very flexible with appointments. Some vets do not allow you or have a space for you to go back with your pets during exams, but Dr.May's office is set up like your regular physician's clinic. I'd highly recommend them.

Dr. May very generously gave us a return phone call to advise us on the care of our beloved diabetic Cairn terrier, Rocky. He guided us through what could have been a very difficult process for a newly diagnosed diabetic dog. He was informative, kind and extremely helpful. When we brought Rocky in when he was having a sick day the care provided at his Fantin road clinic was WONDERFUL - Rocky was better that same day after we got him home - he was just about to get back to being his regular self...barking at the mailman, UPS truck and generally having a good time. We were grateful and recommend Dr. May and his great staff highly!!!

Love the vet Dr. May - but... don't take your pet to the on site grooming service. The groomer is obviously not an animal lover - just a job to her. She shaved off a growth on our 15 yr. old Lhasa...
Love the vet Dr. May - but... don't take your pet to the on site grooming service. The groomer is obviously not an animal lover - just a job to her. She shaved off a growth on our 15 yr. old Lhasa that bleed. Does not like older pets. Again Vet is great!

Best vet ever! Dr May is very kind and considerate. His entire staff is great. Dr Riem has been a great addition as well. I've never had to wait at all for a scheduled appointment. Dr May helped me research cancer treatments for my beloved dog and was there for support until the end. He truly cares for his patients and their 'parents.' I now have two new pups and look forward to bringing them for visits.

These are the sweetest people you could ask for in dealing with an animal. Though our little stray kitten had to be put down this morning, the staff there was so gentle in dealing with me, (my uncontrollable sobbing,) and my precious little kitten. The doctors did every thing in their power to diagnose the problem and offered as many solutions as they could. Thank y'all so much for being so kind and patient.

Dr. David May and his staff have a great clinic. Dr. May saved our dog's life with surgery this past week. His examinations are incredibly thorough and you can tell he really cares about the animals under his charge. His staff is very friendly and professional.
We have also boarded our dog with them and they took great care him while we were away.

dr may and the staff are awesome!!!! i recently got my animals washed by the new girl ms megan, she is wonderful, my animals look and smell brand new!!!!! i would recommend to everyone!!!

Contrary to this other reviewer, my experience with Dr May and his staff has been great. He's very conscientious about the needs of you and your pet and has gone above and beyond to diagnose and treat any problems either of my dogs have had. On top of that, both my dogs are very comfortable and calm with him and his staff. Dr May knows them by name and treats them with the utmost care. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr May's practice.

Dr. May to the rescue! Our precious Cairn terrier, Barclay, was almost a casualty - yikes!! He secretly hid a tennis ball under the bad and actually swallowed a piece about half the size of a large coin. He’d already thrown up blood and we knew there was no time to waste. There is no comparison with the treatment I've always gotten and the treatment Dr. May gives. I've been taking Belle here for the past two years. Dr. May is very nice and personable. They are also very flexible with appointments. Some vets do not allow you or have a space for you to go back with your pets during exams, but Dr.May's office is set up like your regular physician's clinic. I'd highly recommend them.

He guided us through what could have been a very difficult process for a newly diagnosed diabetic dog. He was informative, kind and extremely helpful. These are the sweetest people you could ask for in dealing with an animal. Though our little stray kitten had to be put down this morning, the staff there was so gentle in dealing with me, (my uncontrollable sobbing,) and my precious little kitten. He's very conscientious about the needs of you and your pet and has gone above and beyond to diagnose and treat any problems either of my dogs have had.
