Thank you, Dogwood Doctors and Staff. Little more than a week ago, I had a very sick, aging dog that required "long, difficult and dangerous surgery" but the alternative would have been to lose her. Stopped by office to purchase my dogs heart worm medicine. Was told they don't sell it anymore and staff started to tell me all the other stuff they did sell. I told her I was not a Vet and I only knew what the Vet had prescribed. She said she was sorry but they could not help me. The only reason I was buying the stuff from them at higher prices I might add was because I was just trying to give my pet what their Vet had ordered. She then said I could check back later if I wanted the Vet to write me a prescription. I told her I had already made a special trip there just to purchase the medicine and if I was going to have to make another trip it would be to a vet that could and would have what I need for my pet. Obviously these folks do not realize we the pet owners have choices. As for me, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff who I was dealing with so I will be shopping around for a vet who actually has folks working for them who at least try's to take care of customer needs.
