Dr. Pattburg has been treating our pets since we moved to Hernando. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring. He does not immediately jump to the most expensive treatment option when diagnosing a problem. He tries common sense first. But his experience makes him aware of when a problem is truly serious. When one of my dogs died last year, he sent a donation in my dog's name to the Vet Department at Mississippi State. He is someone who truly cares for his patients.

He fully understands that your animal is a family member...
my mastiff pit mix became extremely ill and Dr. Brent did everything to save my 8month old puppy from passing...but sadly, my Nora passed from a mushroom she ate in the yard...
Dr. Brent came to work even when his office was closed, so I could bury Nora... he never asked for a single penny during the 2 days she was there.
instead, Dr.Brent and his staff made a generous donation in Nora’s name to Mississippi State animal health research facilities
Dr. Brent is NOT in it for money.
He has been (and still is) a huge role in the life of me and my dogs..
God fearing, and humble.

Recently there with my sister-in-law for her dog which is her service dog. She recently moved here and her wasn't feeling well. The Vet took this time to explain the situation with my Sister-in-law.
She had gotten a very serious issue with the dogs heart and this Vet explained in laymen terms so she could understand just what was wrong and gave the dog and much less serious diagnosis. To my Sister in laws relief she will go back to County Seas Animal Hospital again with her fur-babies health issues. I have been there with one of my cats who was seriously ill and he had to go over the rainbow bridge. The vet was very caring and gentle with the situation. I will always use County Seat Animal Hospital for all my fur-babies too.

Dr.Pattburg is a very caring vet which gives you great and your pet compassion. Always is concerned about your cost and trying to be helpful to not break the bank. At times treats your animals and does not even charge you for repeat visits. Not very many vets are as compassionate for everyone concerned. Wouldn't go anyplace else.

The experience I had was just marvelous, I have had to put down many dogs in my life but this time was so different. So peacefulThe treatment by Dr Pattberg and his staff was so caring and loving. Dr Pattberg is so caring! The entire staff is wonderful. We have cats and dogs and he's always been terrific with them all. Last year we found out our oldest cat had cancer and Dr Pattberg was open...
Dr Pattberg is so caring! The entire staff is wonderful. We have cats and dogs and he's always been terrific with them all. Last year we found out our oldest cat had cancer and Dr Pattberg was open and honest about all our treatment options and how Smokey would fare. He worked with us and we tried to help ease his pain. The day Smokey passed away Dr Pattberg helped us through it and wouldn't take any payment for the work he did to help. The staff is very compassionate and I couldn't imagine having a better vet.

Everyone on the staff there is truly an animal lover. Dr. P has been our vet for many many years. The only way we would go anywhere else is if his office was closed.Dr. Pattberg has a heart of gold for his patients, I would recommend anyone I know to go to him. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Pattberg for six years now. His office is clean & comfortable and has that small town feel. His staff has always been pleasant. Dr. Pattberg has always been compassionate and taken time to advise and direct us on the well being of our pets. Recently, on a Saturday our Shi-Tzu fell ill and Dr. Pattberg stayed late working on our dog. Our Shi-Tzu did not make it despite his efforts. Losing a long term pet is losing a part of the family. Dr. Pattberg met with us and passed on any charges that afternoon. Later in the week my wife called the clinic to take care of the expenses. Dr. Pattberg refused to be compensated. Remember, he spent alot of time with our pet on his day off... This is not the first time he has offered his time and resources...including medication w/out accepting payment. We really appreciate and feel blessed having a vet that shows the compassion for our pets and our feelings that Dr. Pattberg does!

I was looking for a vet closer to my house. I saw an ad for this vet and looked him up, his web site seemed that he loved animals so I took my little dog to him. They said it would be good for him to...
I was looking for a vet closer to my house. I saw an ad for this vet and looked him up, his web site seemed that he loved animals so I took my little dog to him. They said it would be good for him to get fixed, I had been planing to do this so I let them do it. BIG mistake when I picked him up I asked about pain meds, He said "" He will be fine he doesn't need it"". I took him at his word. I also was shocked to see he closed him up with staples. When we got home, my little dog pulled out one of his staples, I called the vet they said "" He'll be ok. HE wasn't ok, the vet didn't give me a cone to put around his head so he couldn't lick the staples. NO pain meds and NO cone. The next day my little dog was shaking from pain and the staple he pulled out got infected. Took him to another vet to treat him. I was supposed to go back and have staples removed, thats been over a month ago and I still have not heard from this vet so much for loving animals.

We have gone to county seat for 20 years New & old dogs, puppies , cats & kittens ! 20 years worth he's talked us through what we thought was an emergency and helped on the phone. He's answered questions at the grocery store........ He's cried right along with us when we've had to put down a animal of our own. We have brought in strays people have put on the side of the road like trash, most of the time they would make it with his medical care & his office would help find a new home other times, they were put down....& we cried together. He's just the best :-D

County Seat Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your animals. The doctor, Brent Pattberg, is so caring for every animal. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. The staff is wonderful. They are always friendly, efficient, and happy to help. Also, my vet is the only hospital accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association in the entire DeSoto county! (as of this date) This means they follow over 950 specific medical guidelines. I was amazed when they told me about it. They offer high tech responsive medical care at an affordable price. I'm never taking my dog anywhere else. Period!

Best vet around! Ok I am a little partial to this vet because I use to work there! But, Dr. Pattberg is great with all the animals and is always available to answer your questions when you call in. He now has a new vet working with him...Dr. Abbey Gregory. They are both amazing vets I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to take their animals.

I was looking for a vet closer to my house. I saw an ad for this vet and looked him up, his web site seemed that he loved animals so I took my little dog to him. They said it would be good for him to get fixed, I had been planing to do this so I let them do it. BIG mistake when I picked him up I asked about pain meds, He said "" He will be fine he doesn't need it"". I took him at his word. I also was shocked to see he closed him up with staples. When we got home, my little dog pulled out one of his staples, I called the vet they said "" He'll be ok. HE wasn't ok, the vet didn't give me a cone to put around his head so he couldn't lick the staples. NO pain meds and NO cone. The next day my little dog was shaking from pain and the staple he pulled out got infected. Took him to another vet to treat him. I was supposed to go back and have staples removed, thats been over a month ago and I still have not heard from this vet so much for loving animals.

We have gone to county seat for 20 years New & old dogs, puppies , cats & kittens ! 20 years worth he's talked us through what we thought was an emergency and helped on the phone. He's answered questions at the grocery store........ He's cried right along with us when we've had to put down a animal of our own. We have brought in strays people have put on the side of the road like trash, most of the time they would make it with his medical care & his office would help find a new home other times, they were put down....& we cried together. He's just the best :-D

County Seat Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your animals. The doctor, Brent Pattberg, is so caring for every animal. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. The staff is wonderful. They are always friendly, efficient, and happy to help. Also, my vet is the only hospital accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association in the entire DeSoto county! (as of this date) This means they follow over 950 specific medical guidelines. I was amazed when they told me about it. They offer high tech responsive medical care at an affordable price. I'm never taking my dog anywhere else. Period!
