My babies and I are part of the Open Arms family, The care they get at Open Arms is with compassion and genuine concern. Doc Julia is the best, along with her staff, giving their patients full attention and lots of animal love. My Riker dog and Warf cat are long time borders. We are absolutely fans of Open Arms Animal Hospital. The name says it all.

Took my baby girl to the vet because I was told by Horn Lake Animal Hospital that she had a broken tooth/fracture. Come to find that wasn't the case. Dr. Julia and her staff was amazing. She definitely care about your pet. The wait was a little long but it was worth the wait, I will definitely be going back. Thanks Dr. Julia!!!!

Staff was very friendly and great with my puppy. It was the first time I've been there after switching vets and I'll continue to do so. The Dr was easy to talk to, knowlegable, quick and genuinely seems like a good person. Prices are cheaper than most other places as well. Highly recommended

Open arms is the best in town in my opinion. She has been taking care of my 6 dogs since she opened up years ago, and I would not trust anyone else with my animals. She is so compassionate, caring, and her prices are very fair. She truly loves animals, and it shows with the level of care she provides. Thanks Doc for all you do for so many of us :-)

Great place to take your family companion. They have a side for cats and 1 for dogs. Appointment only but they will take emergencies. You only have to wait a few minutes if you schedule a appointment

They really do have the best prices, i called ALOT of places and no one touched their price. I would definitely recommend this vet and the staff. The ladies at the front desk were very nice as well 😊

I will never take my baby anywhere else. I used to take her to Horn Lake Animal hospital, but I didn't like how it was someone different everytime. I also felt it was just a job they go to everyday and didn't really care. When you see doc Julia you feel the love and compassion she has for animals.

My baby ripped her side open Thursday :( and I took her to Open Arms. They fixed her right up with a tube and stitches. Went to get her tube out yesterday and they didn't charge me for it. We have to go back Friday to get her stitches out. All of them have been nothing but nice to me and my babies when we come in.The doctor is very nice and listens to my concerns. I'm glad the shelter told me about them when we adopted our babies. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Though I hope we don't have to see them again until shot time :) I'm glad they are there when/if we need them.

My male chihuahua had some blood in his stool. I called every vet around and no one would see him. I called Open Arms and they would see him immediately. By the time we got there it was pure blood coming out. Dr. Rickets was so concerned, she took him home with her so she could keep an eye on him. We never found out what caused the blood but he was fine by the next morning.

Dr. Rickett is amazing! Not only is she one of the best diagnostic vets I have ever taken my animals to, but she is also one of the most caring and compassionate vets as well. I love that her fee structure is one of the lowest in the area too, which is a big help to pet parents on a budget. Five stars!

I wish I would've knew about this place before I went to Horn Lake Animal Hospital. I took my dog there first on May 17th. The vet did not tell me what was wrong with my poor baby. He only could tell me his x ray was fine and his heart worm test was negative. He prescribed my dog two medication for pain. My dog was worse after taking the medication. So I went online to find other places to take my baby because after paying over 200 dollars you would expect to have an ideal of what could be wrong. I found Open Arms. I made an appointment for my baby. The phone call for the appointment was pleasing. The voice on the other end made me feel like they cared. BUT, it did not stop there because when I took my baby in for the check up the whole entire staff was Awesome and friendly. I felt the care. I got some sad news but it made me feel better to know what was wrong with my baby. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma. A type of cancer that affects the lymph nodes. It hurts bUT my experience at Open Arms made my burden a lighter. I recommend you guys.... Thanks to the entire staff.

Took my baby girl to the vet because I was told by Horn Lake Animal Hospital that she had a broken tooth/fracture. Come to find that wasn't the case. Dr. Julia and her staff was amazing. I will never take my baby anywhere else. I used to take her to Horn Lake Animal hospital, but I didn't like how it was someone different everytime. I also felt it was just a job they go to everyday and didn't really care. When you see doc Julia you feel the love and compassion she has for animals.

My baby ripped her side open Thursday :( and I took her to Open Arms. They fixed her right up with a tube and stitches. Went to get her tube out yesterday and they didn't charge me for it. We have to go back Friday to get her stitches out. All of them have been nothing but nice to me and my babies when we come in.The doctor is very nice and listens to my concerns. My male chihuahua had some blood in his stool. I called every vet around and no one would see him. I called Open Arms and they would see him immediately. By the time we got there it was pure blood coming out. Dr. Rickets was so concerned, she took him home with her so she could keep an eye on him. We never found out what caused the blood but he was fine by the next morning.

Dr. Rickett is amazing! Not only is she one of the best diagnostic vets I have ever taken my animals to, but she is also one of the most caring and compassionate vets as well.
