Today's February 23rd 2020 my dog Coco has been sick all morning with vomiting and diarrhea. I called Banfield Hospital to see if I can get an appointment Megan the front desk clerk explain to me that there were already over booked for the day so they cannot see Coco. Megan asked me what was the problem with Coco after I explain the vomiting and diarrhea five or six times this morning she referred me to the ER on Lakeland. I ask Megan if the ER was covered under my Banfield insurance she said no. So I asked Megan why do you offer a service and I pay for a service that you don't provide when I need it. Megan dean explained that no it doesn't work like that it's basically just a payment plan but that's not how it's explained in the paperwork it says all plans have unlimited visits an immunizations. Ask Megan to see if there was someone else I can speak with they can maybe allow us to be seen today. Megan said no doctor Mars said that they are fully booked for the day. My dog Coco only weighs about 4 lb how long can she last only weighing 4 lbs healthy being sick. Thanks a lot Banfield hospital for taking my money and not providing the service that you offer. The staff at front desk at Jackson,MS location is very rude and unprofessional. Got a call for appointment scheduled and the person mentioned that the appointment was scheduled for today instead of tomorrow. I was surprised but quickly changed my plans and took the pet there. They refused to accept the pet and did not accept the mistake they made in scheduling. I was delayed by more than hour at work and had to drive extra 45 miles just because of this miscommunication. The least they could do is keep the pet (who is on their Early Care Plus plan) for few hours so that I could report for work and pick during lunch. Very unsatisfied. When I tried to cancel the plan, after half an hour wait on phone, they told me I owe them more than I would have paid in installments anyway (what a scam). While asking to signup, they tell you that there are no commitments and you can cancel any time. Reason of review: Staff, Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy. Monetary Loss: $380. Preferred solution: Full refund. I didn't like: Wellness plans, Staff, Customer service. Read Less

I've never been to a Banfield that wasn't amazing, and this place is no exception. The staff is fantastic. The place is clean, and I never have to worry about who is taking care of my pups. Love this place. Read Less
