In 1961, Dr. Hugh Ward opened Briarwood Animal Hospital and although some of the faces have changed, our commitment to patient care remains the focus of our practice.
Briarwood Animal Hospital provides complete medical, diagnostic, and surgical services. We offer preventative health care, routine examinations, and client education to keep your pet with your family for many years to come. In addition, we offer spacious boarding and grooming facilities. Our friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced staff at each hospital will take the time to listen to your concerns and offer quality care for your best friend.

Not the best customer service just kind of rushed him into the back not trying to hear instructions or show me facility. Worse off, why did my puppy who was almost 100% potty trained come back doing things he’s never even done before... Do they not let him outside enough??

I absolutely love bringing my kitty cat here for her pet needs / boarding.. shots..etc .. the staff does seem to give these pets being boarded .. while we are on vacation alot of attention ... my k...
I absolutely love bringing my kitty cat here for her pet needs / boarding.. shots..etc .. the staff does seem to give these pets being boarded .. while we are on vacation alot of attention ... my kitty's name is Cali ... this is the only place I will board her while we are on vacation .. for more than a couple of days .. they even send me pics of her while I am gone to see how she is doing .. Bringing Cali for boarding end of August 2016 .. see you soon .. blessings to all !!

We have boarded at Briarwood a few times now and our measuring stick is how they act dropping off and picking up. After the first stay they did not act nervous or scared returning. When we picked them up they were content. yes, happy to see us, but not staining on the leash to get the heck out. As a vet we were impressed with his dog side maner and how well Sampson came out of his first surgery there for skin cancer. Compared to his prior surgery in Jacksonville FL it was night and day better. He came with a good recommendation from a friend and has lived up to it and more.

We have boarded at Briarwood a few times now and our measuring stick is how they act dropping off and picking up. After the first stay they did not act nervous or scared returning. When we picked them up they were content. yes, happy to see us, but not staining on the leash to get the heck out. As a vet we were impressed with his dog side maner and how well Sampson came out of his first surgery there for skin cancer. Compared to his prior surgery in Jacksonville FL it was night and day better. He came with a good recommendation from a friend and has lived up to it and more.
