This is a wonderful place... It doesn't just care for the animals that have to be there, (of course, it's a hospital), but they are connected with wildlife rehabbers that specialize in all kinds of animals.. I recently had a baby squirrel take to me and I quickly developed a huge bond with the little thing. Didn't even keep it in a cage! After about 10 days of research trying to figure out what needed to be done to keep him I learned quite a lot, mainly that as she grew I wouldn't be able to make a wild animal as happy as the needy baby it then was. Also, that it was ILLEGAL!! The people here took her in with such love and care! Explained EVERYTHING to me and made me feel much better... Thanks to this hospital and what they do, I know my baby for 10 sweet days will have a great chance at a happy life!!

Multiple vets available, so service and availability are more than prompt. Specifically, Dr. Whittington is long experienced for great treatment and a heart of gold. Also, he is ready to provide unvarnished truth about your pet's condition. None of these remarks are meant to diminish the capacity of any of the other vets. I must mention the front desk staff are friendly, caring and capable.

The staff here is great. I recently took my 7 month old parakeet in for a nail clipping. The wait was short and they had her nails clipped and back out to me in a short amount of time. The prices are reasonable and they are willing to work with you on larger vet bills..I do recommend this place if you have birds of any type. I've also heard that they take great care of dogs and cats as well. I will be returning there if I ever need vet care for my animals.

We have been using North State for almost 20 years. The staff is compassionate and they know our fur babies by name. The care we and our pets receive is top notch! We love them!

Fantastic! I would definitely recommend this veterinary practice to anybody that has any animal issues! Dr. Faulkner and his staff at North State animal hospital we're very caring and very compassionate towards my Guinea pig and his problems ! Though his problems were to severe and we had to put him down, The staff at North State animal hospital was very friendly and very caring! today I checked my mailbox and got a hand written note from Dr. Faulkner saying how sorry he was for my loss! I will definitely continue to go to Northside and the hospital with all of my pets!

Dr. Whittington is hands down the best vet in the state. I have two bulldogs with plenty of health problems and he has treated them as if they are his own. You can tell everyone on the staff loves what they do because they simply love animals. I live 30 minutes away and could easily find a closer veterinarian, but that would be a disservice to my pets.

Great!!!! All the ladies at the front Love animals and they treat your pet like it's their own .. everyone is very nice and very helpful. I took my new puppy here and it was wonderful experience. Prices are not to high and I actually think their very reasonable compared to some vets.. I will be back and great place. And just FYI, my grandparents had a German Shepard and they religiously took him here for YEARS. Now I see why

This is a wonderful place... It doesn't just care for the animals that have to be there, (of course, it's a hospital), but they are connected with wildlife rehabbers that specialize in all kinds of animals.. The staff here is great. I recently took my 7 month old parakeet in for a nail clipping. The wait was short and they had her nails clipped and back out to me in a short amount of time. Dr. Whittington is hands down the best vet in the state. I have two bulldogs with plenty of health problems and he has treated them as if they are his own. You can tell everyone on the staff loves what they do because they simply love animals. I live 30 minutes away and could easily find a closer veterinarian, but that would be a disservice to my pets.

Great!!!! All the ladies at the front Love animals and they treat your pet like it's their own .. everyone is very nice and very helpful. I took my new puppy here and it was wonderful experience. Prices are not to high and I actually think their very reasonable compared to some vets.. I will be back and great place. And just FYI, my grandparents had a German Shepard and they religiously took him here for YEARS. Now I see why
